Vita Nova offers fine dining at the University of Delaware campus. The newly renovated restaurant is run by Hospitality Management students and offers three different dining experiences. During Lunch, Vita Nova serves a gourmet buffet lunch Mon-Fri from 11:30am. Come back for dinner to enjoy a delicious four-course fine dining experience in our main dining room or a more casual meal in the Bistro where we offer an innovative small plate menu and a 3-course Theater Menu Wed-Fri from 5:30pm. Vita Nova offers an extensive beverage selection and a 100 bottle wine list.

This is a great place to go for a special meal. The food is prepared and served by UD Hospitality students. I’ve never been disappointed. Order the nitro cream and watch the students make it at your table.

These Hotel and Restaurant Management upperclassmen do a very attentive job throughout the meal.Supervision by experienced restaurant professionals also helps a lot.Vita Nova even has an early evening wine / small plate option in the beautiful bar area.Some patrons claim it is a bit pricey, but it is a first-class dining experience for lunch and for dinner, with very good wines also served. Certainly worth a try...and a return visit or two.
