It's a 2 hour wait on a Friday night. (Only if you continually pester the hostess stand, will be longer if you don't) Margaritas are, while not the worst, pretty dang terrible. There is alcohol in the margarita, the only thing the drink there has going for it. The food is on par quality wise with Taco Bell, but it is kind of speedy. Service is excellent. Price is low for a sit-down joint. I just can't get over how terrible the food is. I've been twice and both times if I had been given food bought from Taco Bell I wouldn't have known the difference. I have absolutely no idea why anyone would wait to eat at a place like this. I know I never will again.

Great food, good prices, just be prepared for a bit of a wait for a table. Definitely get a house margarita while you wait! I had leftovers for dinner the next night, and it was still yummy!

This place seems to always be busy. Food is good and plentiful. Service was excellent. Burrito was stuffed with chicken and smothered in a mild red sauce. Small one was perfect for lunch. It would've been better with beans and rice, as taste was a bit bland with only chicken. Hubby had two tuna tacos at $4,50 each. They were tasty. We saw others with nachos. Plate was huge and enough for 4 people to share.

I just ordered the large chicken taco salad in fried flour tortilla bowl. IT WAS FANTASTIC!! Great mix of veggies and shredded chicken. Just a great meal!

The food is great. I had the steak street tacos and they were stacked (as any good taco should be). You get 3 of them (as oppose to some locations that serve 2).The House Margarita is solid. I prefer to taste the alcohol in my drink. I definitely could here. This is not common, in my experience. I was pleasantly surprised.Chill in the backside patio or indoors. And then go get a drink tattoo next door (just kidding, don't do that)

Delicious food!!! I got the Mexican pizza which was sooooo good and easily three meals. My hubby got steak and shrimp fajitas, scrumptious and nice BIG portions!! We had to get the food to go because it was very busy and it's over $4 an hour for parking. After eating, we could see why there were so many people!! Awesome place but be aware of the popularity and VERY limited parking.

Food was good, back end bar where your high tops because it's a tripping hazard. Lots of fun, great food, small bathrooms (not handicap friendly if you need it). Go at lunch, if you want food plan to wait an 40 mins to an hour. Eat out back at the outdoor tables.

If your in the area and you enjoy Mexican food, look no further! VIP has amazing food as well as margaritas and everything is so reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Be sure to save room for dessert. They have delicious fried ice cream!

The VIP Restaurant Was a unique dining experience in Mexican Cuisine. The restaurant is conveniently located on Treasure Island, Florida across the street from the beach. The VIP offers inside or outside dining for your convenience there are also an outside and an inside bar. The dining inside is very close and personal. Their bathrooms are very clean and very small. The best part of the VIP is their food. They have their signature dish, the wet burrito. For a very unique and great dining experience, you have to try the VIP.
