Happy little place, looks like nothing but it is by far the best place to get catfish and shrimp in East Texas that I have found. Super clean tasting food and very nice ownership. Reasonable prices. It was a surprise find.

Highly satisfied! Everything was perfect...from the cold sweet tea w/a slice of lemon to the fish & jumbo shrimp combo. Will stop by next time I go through Jacksonville.

Their food is definitely not pre battered it may be frozen because unless you live next to the sea almost anywhere is going to be frozen but they batter their own food and season their own batter they also make their own tartar sauce and shrimp sauce which is one of a kind I've never tasted a shrimp sauce like it definitely the best I've ever had I don't know what this other guy is talking about but he is wrong if you go to Jack in the Box over this place you have no taste in food they offer oysters frog legs crawfish the best tasting catfish in town their service is amazing it's a little hole in the wall place they serve their food on paper plates but hey that's how we do it in East Texas love Vincents

They owners and employees are very friendly and helpful. They really try to give you the best experience at their restaurant. It has a "no frills" decor inside but it was neat and clean. If you're looking for tasty, affordable sea food, Vincent's is the place to go. They don't do delivery but you can call in an order and pick it up quite promptly. In addition to the food, they have a decent variety of cold soft drink, and sports drinks available in a drink refrigerator close to the counter where you pay. The restaurant doesn't stay open super late, I think they close by 8 pm not nights, but it's a nice option for lunch or dinner.

Poor quality catfish. The catfish is processed and does not fry correctly. Shrimp is a flat shrimp and never have eaten flat shrimp. Food served on throw away plates and trow away forks. Wont go back like my fish flakes not gel looking
