Be wary of their "specials". 5 dollars for a half pint of bud light? No thank you. 12 bucks for a burger with no cheese and practically a shot of bud light? Yikes

A flipping hilarious night out! And it was free to attend! If you go during the week of your birthday you get free champagne, which is awesome! And they have $5 frozen margarita's, which are delicious, (although not strong). They have a line up of half a dozen comedians who each do a 5-10 minute set, and they run multiple shows during the night; 8,10,12pm on Friday and Saturday's - arrive 20-30 mins early to get a seat if you're arriving at 10 or 12 because it does get busy. 8pm show is early enough that it's not super crowded yet. The food looks good too, and not crazy expensive, although we didn't eat here, we would have been happy to.

I really like this place- good drink specials and food options. But we reviewed the bill the next day and found that we were overcharged; they didn't apply the happy hour price to four of our beers. So, keep that in mind

The drinks and food are good and inexpensive, perfect for hanging out. Cassie, our server, is absolutely incredible. Attentive, kind, and reliable. Couldn't commend her enough!

Bartender poured shots for my group, completely unprompted and unasked for, and then added them to my bill - essentially tripling my bill at the end of the night for a nice shock.

I love going to the Lantern for their comedy nights. There is no cover or ticket price, and they bring in around 5-8 comedians per show. Both shows I went to were absolutely hilarious, and the small venue creates a very communal, intimate feel. There's also a normal bar area with tables to sit at if you want a drink before/during/after a show. The only I would say to watch out for is the drink prices on some items. I ordered a pitcher during one of the comedy shows and was very surprised at the price. It seemed as expensive as just buying 2-3 beers separately.
