never a bad meal whether for 2 or 12. Open late which is such a treat! Food is fresh and authentic. Service with a smile. Never had to wait long for a seat and the secluded bar on the right side of the restaurant is a hopping and popular place that must draw in lots of locals! One of these days I'm venturing over there to see what's up with all the laughter and fun!

A long wait sometimes means a promising experience, but not in this case. It's a very well known/ popular place but more like nostalgic. The food was weak. The chicken parm is flavorless, as is the sauce. Even the salad needed a boost. The bar seemed like a more livelier place, although they set out complimentary subs next to a self serve popcorn machine. Seemed a tad on disgusting side the way food was out in the open. The super bright lights glare onto it original decor, and themed with hundred of barometers and copper tea kettles, in which I saw one fall on to a table. I was really hoping it would have been a better experience from all of the hype.

Always excellent! Too much good food on the menu 😀. They need to add a new menu item..."More Room"!! Service is almost always excellent and latest visit we were served by Shayla, who earned an A+. Not just good Italian food either, American items are good as are the seafood items. Hard to go wrong with anything here.

I went for the pizza which was fabulous. I would have it again. But I will have to go back for the pasta dishes. They were being ordered frequently by the crowd, and I gathered by direct observation of these democratic indicators that pasta is quite delicious here. The interior is decorated with art work and a noteworthy collect of copper kettles ans steam gages. Cheers!

Great food and service! Has a lot if antique and unique copper kettles and artwork. The atmosphere was nice, the restrooms were clean, the restaraunt was clean. They jad nice servers and had no problem giving extra bread to us. Very nice place to eat.

Very good pizza. It’s my personal favorite. Their to go service was very fast. They also followed social distancing policies.

The food is wonderful, the happy hour crowd is filled with locals who have been coming here for years. Stromboli's here are the best. The happy hour has free food for those in the bar. Love the popcorn!

Always great family style Italian place like you remember from the 80s and 90s. Eclectic decent portions attentive staff menu choices. Fun bar with snacks for free afaik.

It’s dark and eclectically decorated. A staple neighborhood restaurant with an attached bar. I have never had a bad meal here and I have dined here than any other restaurant. The service is wonderful. When you leave, you can’t help but wonder why these kinds of restaurants are so few and far between.

Food wise good. Ordered shrimp crab bowtie pasta, very tasty. Neatness wise bad. First entered I could see napkins and straw covers on the floor, which was a bit turn off to me. But otherwise food is good. I am just giving my honest opinion. No offense !

Great food and service! Reminds me of the small local Italian restaurants I used to go to as a kid. Food was plentiful and absolutely delicious. Definitely come hungry. They get busy on the weekends but there is a decent bar to hang out and wait. We came on a Friday night during peak time but still only waited 15 minutes.

Great food as always. The tortellini with mixed success was delicious. The gnocchi and lasagna and spaghetti with garlic herb sauce were also delicious.

Awesome homemade Italian food, down to their salad dressings. Never had their pizza or limoncello but see great reviews for both. Amazing atmosphere in both bar & dining room.

Villa Nova is always a great experience, especially in these times of pop up restaurants trying to out-trend each other. I love the atmosphere, and anything I've ordered has satisfied my 6'2" frame. Go eat here.
