This was not our first visit to Villa Gennaro. The menu contains all the standard Italian Comfort Foods. Cold antipasto was good, the shrimp and garlic appetizer very good and the linguine with white clam sauce was tasty. The Chicken Cacciatore, on the other hand, was dry and lacking in flavor. The service was friendly and the atmosphere comfortable and pleasant. This is a nice but not outstanding place.

This place was unbelievable. We went thete on a Monday and had 3 pasta dishes on special and they were all absolutely wonderful. Like NYC fine dining level amazing with reasonable prices. The service was impeccable as well, our server was friendly, unobtrusive and extremely attentive. We will make a point when visiting from phoenix to continue to visit this restaurant (Im a NJ native but currently live outside of the garden state and love good italian food).

Great service, delicious food, but a bit small. All the tables were so close we had to tell kindle say " Excuse me" to people, while walking to the bathroom. ( It was tight for our reserved party of 22)

All my life I've been visiting family and friends in southern Italy. The food here reminds me of that. Its classic. They don't smother everything in garlic. Everything I've tried is always cooked properly and tastes good. Villa Gennaro is always an option when im trying to decide what I want to eat.

This was our first visit here, servers are very friendly and responsive to your needs. The food was very good traditional Italian, with an excellent "hot and cold" appetizer especially for our table. The food was excellent as always. The service was great. A good place for dinner, we would highly recommend her.

Our waitress was super sweet and friendly. Knew the whole menu by heart and was very attentive. It was our first time there for a date night and we really enjoyed the food! My favorite thing is risotto and it was delicious! Thank you!

Food - 4 starsService - 2 starsPrice - 3 starsCame here for lunch. The food is overall pretty good. Pastas were of generous sizes and had plenty of ingredients. Ordered a few starters and everyone in my party enjoyed it. The only downside was our server - he could’ve been more friendly and attentive. Overall, would come here for the food but not expect much else.

Excellent service from Yazmin! Went with my relatives to celebrate a 30th wedding anniversary before I head back home. She made it a very special evening for us. Food was great and plentiful.
