Went in yesterday had great service! Arturo the owner is very friendly! Food was awesome. I recommend the fajitas!

This place is over priced fajitas for 20.00 barley any steak or chicken.. I can go to down town hobart to el captain get mix fajitas for 14 .00 serves up to 3 people and take some home dont waste your money here will never go back prob why they closed in hobart ..

Went here on Valentine's night cause our first stop had a wait. No wait, excellent piano player and the whole place decked out for the holiday! Oh, and the food was delicious!

Authentic honest food served by a wonderful wait staff. The owners are also great, thank God Villa del Sol is back in the hands of compatent restaurant owners.we will be back every chance we get.

Best outdoor patio in the area, great elotes, fundido, camarones diablos, camarones de ajo and the ribeye was great too.

The food is great. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Love the environment especially their beautiful patio, feels like your some where tropic.

Took a hour to get a menu after asking. Took a hour to get food and the waiter gives our food to the wrong people. All the food came out looking alike so he was practically having to open it to even see what it was. Couldn’t remember any of our orders. The WORST experience. When we went to pay the awful waiter had already added on his own tip. Please go somewhere else. This is our first and last time here.

Great place for drinks if your a drinker which I'm not and food is way over priced and not good.

Pros: good (borderline great) food, priced perfectly, great hostess and waitstaff. Cons: at this time the outside seating area appearance is quite rough. Easy fixes but greatly dampers experience to look at. Might not be a diamond in the rough, but emerald definitely. We ordered the Sol Maya Combination and 3 meat Fajita Dinner. Once set in front of us, the smell was great and the plate setting was appealing. Opting to sit outside was great. The inside was a bit too dark for afternoon eating. Outside is almost a perfect balance of scattered tables like a social event. The one downfall is the different little tables messing up the scene. Some landscape and cosmetic changes are needed as well. For this, I give it 3.7 out of 5. Next time I hope to bump it to a 4.5.

Went there a few times years ago and it was fantastic. Love the patio this time of year. Went there tonight and will never go back. Terrible untrained staff. Server got the orders wrong and took forever. The great green rice is gone. Food was very bland. Under new ownership for a few months now they said.
