I love Vietnamese and Thai dishes. I’ve known about this place for quite some time but got the chance to go a couple of times only recently. (Note: they are closed on Mondays.) The first meal I had was shrimp Pad Thai. It was a big portion, filling and well-seasoned. Lunch on another day was a large House Specialty Pho, with beef balls, tendon and flank. It was, again, a generous serving. Pho is not pho without the sprouts and basil leaves and, of course, a touch of hot sauce. Lime juice gives it also a refreshing taste.

This is a friendly family-run business. Plus prices are reasonable. The place itself is looking old and outdated but it’s clean and there’s lots of natural light coming in. It’s in a very small strip plaza but parking is not a problem.

Questions & Answers

Unfortunately can not answer this.

I am trying to remember. They have different sizes of pho, but they are around $10, bit more for big ones

I believe China King on Colborne St East has Peking Duck. As Douglas said.. Peking Duck is a Chinese thing so you won't find it in a Vietnamse/Thai restaurant. But.. That being said Viet Thai Basil is amazing, the family who owns it are amazing, and their pho is the best I've ever had(and I've had pho all over the place).

Cilantro tastes like soap for some people. Look it up
