Read about this place on Yelp but it is not quite what I expected. This is a TINY old bodega style cafe in a run down strip mall. It caters to a Latino clientele but the waitress/cashier/cook/owner? greeted us warmly. We were just here for breakfast. I had eggs with rice & beans. Delicious! Very flavorful. We ordered coffee and it came piping hot in a Styrofoam cup with cream and lots of sugar. It was much sweeter than I normally take my coffee but very good. Husband had a ham and egg omelet with some delicious friend potatoes. Our meals came with a delicious warm bread that reminded me of naan. Loved it. Food was good, plentiful and very, very cheap. I think we paid around $15 for everything, including tip.

The food is delicious and the price is even better. They're a little greedy with the beans but aside from that it's a great place to take a large party and pay almost nothing to feed everyone! The seasoning is very delicious

I think this is one of the few legit home made Puerto Rican food you will find down south in Homestead. Delicious, affordable and yet reminds me of the Island.

This place has really gone downhill the service is terrible the food is no longer Puerto Rican food they have Peruvian people cooking Puerto Rican food faking our Traditions freaking our food nothing about this place is good I recommend that no one ever eat here it was a horrible experience and I had an allergic reaction from one of their dishes horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
