Let's start with the appetizer it was super duper delish we had the portobello mushrooms and eggplant with fresh mozzarella and balsamic vinaigrette and pesto. Then we ordered pizza and chicken parmesan. The pizza crust was very well cooked and the marinara sauce was very well balanced. Cheese was very flavorful and we added sun dried tomatoes and fresh basil. It was incredible.The chicken parm was perfect as well. Will be coming back for sure. Thank you.On the negative side they charge for ranch and they didn't give the wine discount as advertised for Monday and they don't give an itemized receipt.

Classic Italian place with good music, nice staff and great ambience. I had a pasta cooked in wine that was really simple and well prepared. Would recommend and definitely visit again.

This is the best Italian restaurant in Raleigh NC period. My family tried several different dishes with different flavors and blends of Italian cuisine. Each was utterly delicious. The service was delightful, friendly, in short - superb. When we come back to Raleigh we will certainly revisit Vic's.

Tasty, authentic Italian pizza with amazing flavor. Nice, convenient location with scenic outdoor seating. One of the best pizza spots in the Triangle.

Great meal and a wonderful location.

The environment is that of a classic pizza restaurant, very casual and conversations throughout the dining room. I was impressed by the pictures hanging on the wall of family's home location in italy.The staff are very friendly and personable, they will ensure you have everything you need. the owner will definitely ensure you are satisfied. The pizza very cheesy and had the perfect balance of sauce to cheese to crust. The crust was definitely of new york style thickness, the sauce had a wonderful unique flavor with plenty of italian spice and the cheese was that of fresh mozzarella.

I visit this place quite often! This is my favorite place to to have a good dinner. I visit this spot routinely. The meals are excellent, the staff is professional and the rates are decent. I enjoy going in this place for a good meal.

This is my new favorite Italian restaurant in the Triangle. We tried this place on a whim on New Year’s Eve with no reservation. The staff made us feel welcome, squeezed us in on a super busy night and didn’t rush us along. Our waiter was the best I’ve seen. The food was exceptional, prepared in a short amount of time, served in large portions and piping hot! The atmosphere is intimate and made me think of a small cafe in New York City. Easy to access with parking in the rear. You owe it to yourself to go!

Best Italian food I've eaten so far..

Vic's Ristorante Italiano at City Market is still my favorite spot in town! Most authentic southern Italian pastas around, nice wine list, enticing appetizers, and delicious desserts. Always welcoming! (better and friendlier than the one on Lake Boone)
