Best sounding venue in Chicago. I've been to many shows here, loud and quiet, and I can say it consistently sounds great. When it's sold out it does not feel too cramped, and there are 2 well stocked bars.

I absolutely love this place! Been to a few shows here and it's a great venue - decent space, but also intimate enough for acts to feel connected to the audience. The staff has always been awesome in my experience. Definitely check it out if you haven't yet.

Great drinks, welcoming cozy environment. I saw Chastity Belt there. Great show! I really like how inventive some of their special drinks were. A little pricey though so be aware of that. I would definitely visit again!

One of my favorite music venues in the city. The sound is always perfect and even when it is sold out, I can always find a good spot to see the stage. Staff is super nice and they have a good beer list.

Was here for a concert, some of the employees were quite rude, but otherwise a very clean and well-kept location. The manager was also very personable and friendly

Great acoustics and generally a lovely place to see a show. They tend to oversell their higher demand concerts, meaning you could end up watching the concert from the bar. This experience makes it a two-star venue. Everything else, including not oversold shows, makes this a 5+ star venue. Their calendar is jam packed, with offerings for everyone, regardless of your preference. Plus, Schubas serves as a wonderful feeder venue, which means you get to see some of your favorite bands grow right before your eyes!
