Amazing place. It's what vegan restaurants should be. It's not just good for being vegan it simply tastes great. Vegan or not. Friendly staff is a plus, and they are the only people I've ever seen successfully make vegan cornbread.

This is the vegan soul food you dream of! So happy to have a place this good in Charlotte!

This spot was so good! Delicious vegan carry-out. I got the shrimp and grits as my entree, with sides of potatoes and onions, tofu scramble, and sausage. Every single thing I ate was well-seasoned and tasty. I'll be back next time I'm in Charlotte!

Fantastic Vegan Spot!!! Don’t just eat veggie burgers and fries when you go out - this is your spot at the end of a long day when you want Grandma to treat you like you are 6 yo again. You even get a shout out on your 1st and 2nd visits! Also, that cornbread is DENSE.

Great service and great food. I am not vegan but really enjoyed my 'salmon patties' with sweet potatoes and collard greens. The only thing that would make this place better would be to have a dining room to eat there, however the lobby is very welcoming with comfortable furniture for while you wait.

We were visiting Charlotte yesterday and had to try this place. Everything sounded amazing so we got some drumsticks (I could talk about these for an hour- how do they make these so tasty?! They're so crispy and have so much flavor!), mac and cheese (omg I'm going to be dreaming about this stuff for weeks), fries, green beans (I never knew a bean could taste so good), and corn bread (it was sweeter than I've had it made before but it was so much better!!). I wanted the rice and gravy too but since they had run out of gravy they asked if I wanted to try rice with jambalaya on top that they had as a special that day and I'm so glad I said yes, it was spicy and amazing. We ended up with 5 boxes of food and in our excitement we left without getting our box of dessert with cinnamon bun cake and brownie, but I'm sure those would have been delicious too. Thank you for making such delicious vegan food!

I went yesterday (4/16) and the food was not only awesome, but the service was great as well. The takeout hostess was exceptionally friendly. I didn’t realize they have so many daily specials as well, make sure to call ahead and see what they have for that day!

I mean....let me put it to you like this...I been in Charlotte since Tuesday from Columbus OH...been there twice a day and today is Sunday🤷🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🔥🔥

The great food, nice vibe, and camaraderie among the staff just keeps my family and I coming back for more! We absolutely LOVE Veltree!

The food is delicious. I ordered Fried Chikn with mac and cheese. It was delicioso. I definitely recommend Veltree. Everyone is so friendly and pleasant.

I had my 1st Meatless Burger since I'm no longer eating beef. It was different, good flavor. The lady at the counter Immediately greeted me. For that, I rating them a 5....

First time visit yesterday. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Ordered the Chimichanga for me and Buffalo Chicken Sandwich/lettuce wrap(GF) for my daughter. They were fantastic. Cornbread, Red Velvet Cupcake and Donut were outstanding too. Can't wait to go back and try more!

This was my first time here. We came right before closing. They celebrated us being 1st timers. I enjoyed the food for the most part. I had the krab cake with greens and Mac. The cakes were awesome greens not so much. One person had the buffalo chicken sandwich and said it was good.(forgot it wasn't real chicken). One of the others had the lasagna and was not pleased with it.
