Van Leewen Ice Cream

🌱This place has amazing vegan ice cream that is cashew and coconut based! They have a wide range of vegan flavors and toppings as well. The vegan ice cream is rich, smooth, creamy, and delicious. The cookie-dough ice cream is my favorite flavor and comes packed with big pieces of soft cookie-dough. The vegan ice cream has a slight hint of coconut flavor to it, but not overpowering. Van Leeuwen is a must-try place if you are seeking good vegan ice cream. Their taste and consistency is unique and way above average. Their flavor and topping selection is outstanding. The staff were also really nice.🌱

Smaller location but great vegan ice cream

Van Leeuwen any location are great!! I haven't been to any of there locations where the expertise was anything less than 5/5. Ice cream flavor, quality, quantity, and smiles are just right!

The perfect spot for a date with my wife. She loves the sample spoons of the new flavors. She goes for the vegan and non dairy options frequently while I tend to stick to the traditional scoops like chocolate, strawberry, and mint chocolate chip. This spot is great because it's in our neighborhood at 81st and Amsterdam — we used to have to go to Brooklyn! Oh, and they are open late. 👌🏻

always delicious!! ate the whole thing without blinking. got the vegan pb choc chip & mint chip with vegan whipped cream. tbh wasn’t in love with the whipped cream, and will probably go without next time. the ice cream just doesn’t need it when it’s this good!

A very good ice cream. Not terribly sweet, yet very flavorful. Great smooth texture.Not many flavors available. Have quite a few vegan options.
