Van Horne Bagel

I don't understand why they have a phone number if they NEVER answer. It's been one year and a half that I live near and want some pizza but they never answer, and when you go there they tell you to wait 40 mins. Seriously, WORST SERVICE. If you have a local business try to keep it by at least answering the phone for having orders.

AVOID!!! WORSE BAGELS EVER!!! I just made the mistake of buying hard and dry bagels at Van Horne Bagels. The lady told me they were fresh but she was lying. Actually, I returned to tell her the situation but she didn't care, she told to put the bagel in the oven for fresh bagels.... Bunch of Crooks!!!!

We stopped by because we were going to the Indian grocery store and wanted a quick bite. We ordered 6 beef samosas and got one for free so we asked for the chicken samosa as the free one. The beef samosas were pretty ok and the chicken samosa was also ok, nothing great. Also, I think its good to mention that the beef samosas have ground beef and potatoes so I think the potatoes shouldn't be in them. In my opinion, both ain't good but the beef is slightly better than the chicken. They make their own cookies but get the other flaky pastries from out. The girls working there are nice and warmed up a couple of samosas for us. All in all, we would skip this place as they don't have a lot to offer.

By far the worst experience I've ever had at a bakery. I Ordered 2 almond croissants and a bagel, the lady working there told me everything was fresh from today.. I stepped outside the bakery took a bite out of my croissant to find out it was extremely hard and dry.. Fresh croissants are supposed to be soft and fluffly. When I came back inside to speak with the lady about it to either exchange it for something else or get a refund.. she refused to admit that they weren't fresh or maybe over baked n dried out and refused to exchange my order or refund me saying her boss would be upset at her (for satisfying a first and now LAST time coustmer!) Never had such an awful experience at any bakery before!

I do not know why it's called Bagel since it's clearly not the first thing in the shop.The pastries are really good and if you take a coffee the whole thing is cheaper than in the metro making it my usual stop on the way to the metro.The pizza is not out of the ordinary but it eats.

No longer the best samosas (used to be). I had to re edit my review to this instead, as the ones I had today taste off, old and over cooked as they were dry. I was here just 2 months ago so perhaps they arent consistent now or something. I feel like they weren't made by the usual person this time. Might come back for the pizzas and pattys again. But todays samosas were highly disappointing.

Love their croissants, butter cookies and fresh baguettes!

When it comes to a coffee, something sweet, and good laugh I am more than happy to run down to this place. Last night ordered 2 medium Hawaiian pizzas and they were so damn good.

Pastries are good but bagels were stale.

Those horseshoe cheesecakes ..... Yeah baby

Pizza is delicious

They don't say hello, they don't say goodbye, and each time you go there and you deal with that lady that I don't know her name, it feels like you're annoying her so much, for just a coffee
