Beautiful restaurant with an even more beautiful location. Restaurant has a warm at home feeling. Their meats are great, sides are wonderful, large selection of bourbons. Staff is always warn and friendly. They offer complimentary valet parking as well as self parking. Great bar as well as outdoor seating.

Very nice upscale BBQ. Great flavor in all the meats, house made sausage was a standout. Brisket was very good, but if your looking for Texas, there is no mesquite wood within a couple hundred miles. Sides were excellent with a shout-out to whomever made the greens 'n' hocks. Wing appetizer were the bomb, get the white sauce.

Let’s start with the good...The macaroni was delicious, the deviled eggs were perfect, and the atmosphere is amazing. However, the brisket wasn’t great and they have the WORST house pickles I’ve ever had. I’m willing to give it another shot but I’ll definitely be ordering something different.

This place was excellent. Do NOT miss the Brisket BBQ Poutine. It was out of this world. And whatever you get, put a pile of white BBQ sauce on it, because it is liquid crack. Service was good and food came out quick. Tons of different bourbons and drinks. Excellent old fashioned, but definitely not cheap for drinks. Food is reasonably priced though. Shrimp and chorizo pasta was amazing, ribs and hot links were great. Would be 5 star, except the sides were not amazing. Had the hock and greens and the jalapeno grits. Both were good, but not great. Would definitely go back and highly recommend still.

Expensive doesn't equal good. First off, flies everywhere. For how expensive this place is they should have there pest control in order. Brisket was 50% fat/gristle and over done. The sauce was the only thing giving it flavor. Veal Chops tasted like the flank steak my father makes on his grill. Mac and cheese was bland. Extensive whiskey list but the highest prices in the all of Jacksonville/Ponte Vedra. Maybe come here for apps and cocktails, that's really about it.

Our party of four all gave this a five star rating. Personally, my beef entree was fabulous and I even loved the Brussel sprouts which were flavorful and cooked perfectly. The truffle oil parsnip purée was the perfect sauce to blend the flavors. O my. Take me back! My hub had the venison which was also very tender and flavorful.

Dinner is ridiculous. Caramel brownie, Pork Chop, Poutine and the drinks selection. Reservations are allowed and mandatory for Sat/Sun. Kids menus are quite well priced. Service is a bit snobby but pretty good. Lunch is nice too as the have seating by the water with a putting green (that needs some love). Check it out...

I'm not exactly a barbecue guru, usually I would say one place is pretty much the same as another. Valley Smoke definitely showed that there are differences, all of them good. The menu is varied for those that don't want traditional barbecue. Our server was knowledgeable, attentive, and timely. The atmosphere is friendly, great for a date, business, or family. I tried the venison, my friend had chicken and brisket. From appetizer to dessert the food was amazing. We had one hiccup when they were out of a beer that I favored, and the manager stopped by (unasked) to ensure the replacement was acceptable (it was). I will be going again, have to try some of the other menu options.

have eaten there several times now. upon walking in i always feel like i am going to have a great experience... and i do. that wood grilled ceasar with a perfectly grilled piece of salmon, a few ribs, a couple of old fashioned... all is good.

Our service was slow but we had a great experience overall. The crab cakes are delicious— very little breadcrumbs— mostly crab meat. Yum. My husband ordered the beef brisket which was really great. Our favorite smoked beef brisket is in Texas, and this was just as great.

A great overall restaurant with amazing service and great food! I loved the outdoor area, however there were some bugs out there... Other then that, I really enjoyed my dining experience at Valley Smoke and I definitely recommend it as a nice BBQ spot with a good atmosphere and service.

Upscale BBQ place that beats the chains in atmosphere and food. Dry scenic dining rooms with huge bar in center and patio overlooking Intracoastal river. Each table gets basket of BBQ sauces that are different from most places. Valet Parking available as lot gets full most evenings. Reservations a must on weekends.

Thought we would try a new place for a late lunch. Was not very crowded, hostess sat us quickly. My wife and I sat there for 15 minutes, plenty of employees looked at us but no one approached us, not even for a drink order. We just walked out, manager saw us and said, have a nice day. Apparently they didn't need our business.

Nice modern facility. Eclectic menu. Good service.

My husband and I tried a new restaurant for date night and the entire experience was so enjoyable. The atmosphere was relaxed but classy. We had an amazing waiter named Brady who was very patient and knew the menu well. He recommended the creamed corn as a side which was phenomenal! They had a great variety of bbq sauces and all of the food was so fresh. Brady was very friendly, never made us feel rushed, and gave great suggestions along with a couple of good laughs. We had the hummingbird cake for dessert which was the cherry on top of the night. Highly recommend this restaurant!
