Great tacos and enchiladas. Ask how many tacos come with each. Each order is different without being labeled. Gringa tacos are the best in my opinion!

Definitely a refreshing happy hour menu to bring to the Alexandria Waterfront! I have gone back time and time again for their fried chicken tacos and Urbano Punch. Their smokey salsa is unique and their chips are thin and crispy. I recommend you get there early for happy hour as it only applies to the bar + not the seated tables.

I might describe the dish as very mild but rich and smoky. Also, If you are into spicy ,I should recommend you ask for the carrot and habanero sauce.

Green ceviche was swimming in lime juice so it lost the delicate flavor you want in this dish. Just ok. Plantain dish was tasty.Salsa with chips - salsa fantastic but chips while thin and right flavor were cold and a bit oily.Crab tostado was good.Hot sauce choice excellent.Cocktails also very good.Hit and miss

I finally made it to Urbano 116 and though the menu has apparently changed a bit over the last year, it is still a decent place to grab a bite in Old Town Alexandria. The atmosphere is great....open floor plan, modern Tex-Mex feel and comfortable seating arrangements. My husband's family was in town; so we sampled a few margaritas and the Queso Amarillo with chorizo. Very tasty....especially with the house salsas and chips. We ordered chicken and spinach enchiladas (house specialty), beef burrito and chimichanga. All the food was well prepared....we really enjoyed it. Our only issue was how long it took between our appetizer and meals. Our server forgot about us. When we flagged the issue, the manager came over and took care of getting our food right away and offered a free round of drinks. Overall, I'd give this place another shot, with a different server. Thanks.

Great margaritas and appetizers! Came here before dinner for happy hour and was really impressed with the service, quality, and price. Highly recommend!

Wonderful food and great atmosphere. Try the octopus tacos, they are phenomenal. Seasonal drinks are always creative and delicious. It can get a bit loud so maybe don't come here to have a serious conversation but if you want a fun, happy energy, this is your place.

Try the pork belly! It was amazing. Margarita had a floral essence so don't be scared away from the hints of dish soap/bathroom airfreshener. It's intentional but safe.

Very beautiful decor! They had done an amazing job with decorations and table set up.Yet the service wasn’t the best. The salsa had a burned flavor, the happy hour is only at the bar so that if you seat at the table you get charge for full price drink during happy hour time.Overall I would recommend the bar area and drinks.Meals ... far away from being good.

It's fine. Not truly authentic in any way. Good margaritas but too small. Very expensive in my opinion for what you get. Food is slightly above average

Reviews for Urbano 116 have been mixed but our experience was all good. We went for brunch on a Sunday and ordered the ceviche, tlayuda, burrito, enfrijoladas, pozole, omelette and they did not disappoint.

The fish taco should have its own framed picture behind the receptionist table. They had a crisp, buttery shell with the freshest fish I could have sworn must have been caught that early evening. What's most impressive is the attention to seasoning and detail. You can taste the hints of clove, oregano, paprika, and red pepper in the chicken enchiladas. The customary chips come with a unique smoky habonera salsa that screams for a hint of lime. The drinks are pricey and unremarkable but the staff are energetic and seem to enjoy being there and servicing the guests. Couples, families and lone diners will feel welcome.
