Good food, friendly staff, fast service. It's fairly standard diner faire, but done well. Good for kids - they have a kids menu and books at the door to keep them occupied.

Great breakfast and lunch spot (not open for dinner). Fast and pleasant service, full sized portions. Can get busy on the weekends but they have a lot of tables and booths to move people through.

This used to be our favourite breakfast place because the home fries and the toast were so good. The service is incredible. However, they recently changed the home fries into thin, flavourless fries that resemble chips. Last time we went, our eggs were too browned at the bottom. I’m not sure if there has been a change in management but I hope they return to their old ways.

They have a host that seats you very polite and then there are 2 waitresses doing tables and the hostesses bought over coffee which is endless and tastes great. Breakfast tastes good and price wise average prices they are more for breakfast and lunch only they close at 1430 probably due to that the trade drops down. All in all a nice clean bright diner to go to and would recommend for anyone laid back service is fast and you go with your table number to the front to pay.

Lots of breakfast places in Guelph. This is truly one of the best! Fair prices, excellent food, fabulous service. My number one choice for a breakfast meeting!

I had a bad experience today at Uptown Grill.I feel that my request would have taken the kitchen staff a extra 60 seconds.I am not impressed in the closed mindedness of the manager. Seems like he was more interested in following rules than making the customer happy. In a small town like Guelph you should be more conscious of making every experience a positive one. A old boss of mine one said " 1000 good reviews no one cares, one bad everyone cares"

We decided to try Uptown Grill as our usual place was closed. We placed an order for takeout. Veggie omelette was delicious! Homemade bread toast is a WINNER!
