Uptown Deli and Brew

This is our favorite quick 'out to dinner' spot. We live near by. We enjoy their beer and like the sandwiches. It's not a big place. If you can score seats at the bar, the service is fast and there are many TVs to watch, mostly sporting events. The patio is quite nice too.

The first sandwich I got, the bread was so wet and soggy that I couldn't eat it. I sent it back and ordered a different sandwich which was not to my liking. I have actually had this sandwich before here and it tasted completely different. Not the dinner I had wanted.

Do not try to go without calling first. I would love to say we tried this place and it was wonderful but unfortunately they shut down 2-3 hours early! (2 hours if you go by their posted time on google. 3 hours if you go by their hours of operation on their website). I called the next day to figure out when they are actually open and found out that they don't have a manager there and wont have one there for about another week. I'm guessing since there is no one there to run it, the employees are just going home early.

Food was good, beer was great. Good prices

Paesano is pretty darn tasty. Craft brews on nitro aren't to shabby either. I want to give it four stars, but I spend money here pretty frequently.

Beer was good but not outstanding or super different. Just pretty run of the mill. The decor is great and the food was good but once again, nothing to write home about. If someone else wanted to go for a beer, I would go back but probably wouldn't make the trip on my own.

Stop here if you’re in the area and hungry. Been here several times but not this year. Been having a taste for their State & Main sandwich. Still great! I like the chips as my side choice. My wife got the pesto turkey on marble bread with the potato salad. Good too, I sampled half. We share. Both sandwiches are large enough to split. We each took half home. Great patio in back but our Sunday evening was ridiculously hot and humid so no one was outside. Plenty of room inside and even at the large bar. As you’d expect, a great variety of beer and cocktail options. Easy free parking in back or down the street. You can enter from either the street side or the back common parking lot. Just under $25 for our two sandwiches, but they were also lunch on Monday.

We love coming to Uptown Deli & Brew. The beers they have one tap are usually delicious! Their patio is a great space during the summer. Also in the summer, they have a WATERMELON beer that will blow your socks off! It comes with a piece of watermelon also. Another reason to visit is a bartender named Tori, she is super friendly and quick to help you. Great place to go for a drink.

I was disappointing in the beer flavors and the sandwich we ordered. We ordered the flight of beer with five different beers. I only enjoyed one beer and was disappointed that I had to drink all of them before I could order a bottle of something I was familiar with. I love IPA and I prefer a draft beer.The sandwich, I was expecting a nice big unusual sandwich like champs serves, especially since this is a deli and a brewery. We ordered the roast beef on rye, but they made a mistake and put it on the baguette. Nothing great or unusual. Not in a to go back. Very nice bar and atmosphere. Service was good.

The menu is relatively small, but it hits all the deli notes, and the food is very good. The beer selection is also fairly limited regarding what they produce on tap, but once again, very, very good. Recommended!

Great sandwiches with plenty of fillings! They are made even better by the awesome bread though. The drinks at Temperance Row are great as well. The seasonal cocktails for the winter were amazing, especially the Mistletoe Mule!

When my group arrived a little after 9:30, we were kind of disappointed that the kitchen was closed, but decided to stay to enjoy a drink. I had the stout, two girls each had one of the two mead options, and the others had some of the IPAs. We had a good night, and the drinks were good. The atmosphere was pretty nice!
