Favorite bar to go to, always. I go to both gay and straight bars, and this one is my 1 go-to where if anyone asks "wanna go to Uproar?", I have so far always said yes.

Good scene. Good drinks. Tony at the barbis awesome!

$18.00 for a redbull and vodka seems a little steep to me. It is a good atmosphere though

Decent priced drinks. Several floors that cater to each style of what an individual is feeling. To the more classic relaxing at the bar to an open room with bars where you can chat. To a dance floor that opens to the roof top in the summer months. Clean. Very LGBTQ friendly.

Great place. I visited in April/May for a conference and wanted to get away from the hotel. While they didn't have scotch on the ground floor, bourbon and soda did fine. Bartender was nice and pleasant. Hope to revisit the next time I'm in D.C. P.S. Nacho plate is enormous and will easily feed multiple people!

Very nice little spot. Been here a few times for dc gaymers. Staff seem nice and attentive. I dont drink so I cant comment on drink prices or quality of the drinks but its a nice place

Fun bar with a low key, local vibe. Drinks were okay, nothing to write home about. It's a good place to go to hang with friends. As soon as some rain started, tents were put up so people could stay outside on the deck rather than crowd the upstairs bar.

Fantastic service, great drinks, lovely people. The management here bends over backwards for they LGBT crowd. But besides their community bonafides, you have a reliable good time with snacks along the way!!!
