The place was packed. The service was great and quick. The food was amazing.

I ate here while on vacation to Montreal. I enjoyed every part of my meal.

One of the best parts of this place is the food selection. There's so much more than you'll find at any other breakfast place. I love the baked beans, too!

Delicious food and good service. Didn't wait too long even though it was busy, but the place does get packed. Wihs the place had a bit more sound proofing as it can get pretty loud when it's busy so you can't hear the person across the table from you.

Very good value. Food is good and breakfast items have large portions. If you eat here in the morning you are going to be ready for a whole day. Service is good and there are no long wait times till you eat.Length of menu is impressive. If you can't find something to your liking you are in the wrong place.

I ate here twice, both times for breakfast. Service was very good, quick, courteous. I like the fact the waiter checked my table for being “wobbly” and then adjusted it with some serviettes to ensure it was stable. Little things like this impressed me. The range of choices also was very good. They don’t know how to make a decent “cappuccino” (nor do most North Americans), so I stayed with filtered coffee after that. Great place, would come back, great service great food.

Great breakfast experience. Went there three days in a row on my three day weekend getaway. Everyone had their A game on. Food was high quality.

Perfect restaurant for breakfast. I liked the food and service too. It’s a busy restaurant so you might have to wait for some time but the wait is worth.

The French toast was sooooo delicious! Will definitely come back again in the future! Hopefully come to Montreal a second time. Amazing city and food!

Great servers all around, very accommodating. Mimosas with fresh squeezed OJ were delicious. Food was tremendous!

My boyfriend and I had an amazing breakfast there. I had the healthy omelet and he had the bacon and Swiss cheese omelet. Both were delicious!
 They also provide some jellies, peanut butter, and honey, which allowed us to finalize with a PB&J sandwich. :)

We had a great time to catch up. Staffs are friendly. We were here on Saturday, lucky we made an reservation. They were packed about 11am already. The food and coffee is quite fast serving. But not really hot like just came out from the fried pan. The coffee is good, we ordered latte and Mocha. Tasty.The portion is huge. Fill you up until the late afternoon.

The food at universal dejeuners et grillades is delicious! Everything tastes fresh and cooked to perfection. They also have a big selection of dishes with unique additions such as goat cheese or gruyere on eggs benedict. I also really appreciated the drink menu of milkshakes, fresh smoothies, juices and more. The atmosphere was a big packed but very modern. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful restaurant, great choices of drinks & they’re most likely known for their breakfast
