Union Sushi + Barbeque Bar

Awesome sushi and BBQ restaurant. Food was amazing and the wait staff was even better. Would highly recommend for anyone in the area or visiting. Everything is made there minutes before you enjoy it. Also there were plenty of drinks to choose from!

Upscale, modern sushi bar. Offers great happy hour specials, good for a dinner date. I usually come for lunch, and they always have me out in under an hour. Really cool place, fair prices.

Be sure to make reservations for this popular Gold Coast hot spot, as wait times on busy nights may exceed one hour. We asked our server/bartender for favorite dish and sushi recommendations. His picks were fantastic. Don’t miss the mussels and be sure to “upgrade” at least one or two of your sushi rolls to include the black rice. Seating at the upstairs bar was close but comfortable. We would be happy to dine here again.

This place is worth giving a shot. They have big portions for fair rates. Constantly well kept and with good atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Came in for a light snack and cocktails.The nigiri was touching, but it was fresh enough that the flavors didn't mix to much. The dragon roll was excellent. The bartender was so great, and so were the drinks.

Pretty good value but I food was just average

I arrive at this excellent place many times as I love the special air that is outline this restaurant. The crew is highly attentive and professional. The service is extraordinarily rapid. Also, the food they serve is highly distinguished. I have been there many times and I was always pleased. The rate is honest. I highly suggest this restaurant to my friends and family.

The menu and service were ahead of my expectations. We surely enjoyed the environment of this place. Fantastic spot to take my family out for lunch.

We made a reservation for 8:00 pm and had to add two people well in advanced during the afternoon. They annoyingly told us it will then maybe be an 8:30 pm reservation. We got there at 8:00 and they sat us by the bar, next to an empty table. We had to wait at the bar until 8:30 till they then sat us at the empty table. Their pettiness threw us off. Not going back.

We visited Union Sushi on NYE! We were sure to have reservations, obviously. They were running a little behind, which we didn’t mind, so we had a few drinks at the upstairs bar while we waited. Once we got to the table, we were told we would receive some free appetizers. Little did we know we would have some of the best service we have ever had! The hostess noticed everyone wasn’t eating one of the free apps and she sent another appetizer over. Everyone was BEYOND AMAZING!!!! We would recommend Union Sushi in a heartbeat. Not only was the experience amazing, the food was also! THANK YOU!!!

I ordered through the app and received my good 30 mins after the estimated time. People who came in to order in person after me received their food before me. I was in a rush and thus decided to plan ahead. The girls there were trying to be nice but I was extremely dissatisfied with my experience. What's the point of ordering ahead if it wasn't going to work? I could've just ordered when I arrived and I would have been happier.

I joined Fitness IL purely because of the pool they had. I also used the services of Taiko Wong for swimming lessons and massages. She is a great teacher and over the course of an year, she taught me how to swim pretty well (I did not really know how to swim before that).Her massages are even better and I would highly recommend her services.

I really liked their food. I always get great service here. The place is always clean and the staff members are always very welcoming. Will come back again.

They have a decent happy hour special on weekday (half price bubbly wines). Sushi is good. Atmosphere is fun/trendy.

Overpriced and just not that worth it. Sake was pretty good on happy hour which is why it’s 3 stars for me
