Great homemade Mexican food! I'm pretty picky about my Mexican food since I'm from socal but this place is pretty legit. The salsa is fresh w/ some actual spice + flavor. I decided to try the daily watermelon margarita and loved it. I'd recommend the tableside guacamole bar so you can get some fresh guac made exactly how you want it. My shrimp fajitas were the perfect choice and I'm usually not a huge fan of shrimp.

Lots of space to accommodate large groups. I was surprised to see how many families are here. But also a good spot for after work happy hour, especially since the chips and salsa are bottomless! If you like enchiladas, the beef enchiladas are better than the chicken ones in my opinion. Also, if you have a large group you have to try the desert pinata filled with chocolate strawberries and other goodness!

Quite good food, slow service, and I wish there were more vegetarian options.

I have been going to the original restaurant, which is 5 minutes away from this location. Plain and simply great Mexican and Tex-Mex dishes from "Scratch" the food, drinks and atmosphere makes you think you are in an authentic Mexican restaurant and are "in" Mexico. Staff is 1st rate and well versed on everything about the place. I highly recommend it and promise you won't be disappointed.

Nice place. A bit loud. Food is very good and drinks are refreshing. Seating is plentiful. I definitely recommend experiencing this space for oneself.

Went on a Tuesday, because TACOS!!!! I was not disappointed. I sat at the bar and was given complimentary chips and salsa. Their salsa is not the typical chunky salsa you might be used to, it's more like a puree, with a distinct smokiness. I also got The Swirl, a frozen drink, half margarita and half sangria, it was delicious ($8.99). Then I got the carnitas tacos, comes with three tacos, rice, beans, pico and guacamole. They were delicious. My only real complaint was the enormous amount of raw onions on top of the tacos. Otherwise the food was great and the service was fine.

We have been visiting this great Mexican restaurant since the 90, formerly known as Rio Grande. The Chimichangas surprised me when they came out with bacon wrapped shrimp 😋 .You should usually have leftovers for another full meal. It’s always a pleasure to visit and enjoy their home made tortillas. A gluten free version would have me going more often with a healthier digestive system as a result. Please stay open forever!
