Great food, but service wasn’t the best.

Best sushi I have ever had. Highly recommend!

Food was very good, didn't give 5 stars because we waited a very long time for the sushi to arrive. I also ordered food to go and that took even longer. 2 people in my party had cooked food and both dishes arrived before mine, sushi is raw maybe they went to the river to catch the fish fresh. The service was very good, we had multiple waitstaff assist us and they kept apologizing for the long wait. Again, the sushi was really good but it could have also been the hunger build up. I will try it again to ensure I gave it the correct rating. Dynamite Roll and the Crab Paradise were very tasty.

Have wanted to try this restaurant since their opening. Went with some friends last week, and enjoyed my dining experience. I'm not 1 for sushi but did try a few different ones. I did thoroughly enjoy the garlic broccoli Bowl and the crab rangoon immensely! The people there are absolutely wonderful, the presentation of the food is nothing less than Exquisite art work. The place was packed and we actually had to wait about 10 minutes for our seats. However all was well worth the wait!

Honestly, just the best Japanese food in all of Fredericksburg. Everything absolutely delivers. The pricing can get high, but that's not to say that it's not deserved. Staff is kind and efficient, and the food is amazing.

Yummy food. Super busy. And their claim to fame? They have the Best Server of the Year: ANDY, a gentle soul, driven by love who smiles constantly and assures customers are content.

Authentic Japanese with Sushi dining location. Bento trays are tasty with new several options. Gyoza is our appetizer every time. Quick service in lively setting near Greyhound bus station Fredericksburg VA.

Quick, Clean, Reasonably Priced, Great Customer Service. Ordered take out when we were about 10 min away. We arrived to an incredibly busy restaurant on a Friday night and our take out order was waiting for us! We will be back when we have time to dine in. Portion size is the same as other restaurants I have been to. Very pleased to find a place here in Fredericksburg.

The food at Umi is every bit as delicious as it is pretty to look at! In addition, the staff is friendly and the service is great, so this is definitely one of the best spots for sushi in Fredericksburg! And don't forget to order the Tuna Spoons!! They're not on the menu but this secret gem is one worth sharing!
