Service too slow and ramen is not good. If you want a good authentic ramen then don’t eat here

Best Ramen I ever had! The atmosphere is amazing. I no longer have to drive all the way Downtown Chicago to get Raman and the feel I am looking for when going out! Love this place!!

Best Ramen in the Naperhood!

(First time here !) I would give this lovely place 5 stars since everything was going amazing BUT after my tasty shrimp tempura, some amazing fries, and a tasty cold beverage, I was served my pork belly ramen and was served 2 fatty,tough,kind of bunt pieced of pork, I HATE wasting food but had to leave them behind :( The restaurant itself is beautiful on the inside. Will comeback for sure but order the veggie ramen next time. Got some good news from a waitress that soon they will be adding a Hibachi/grilled menu items !

Great addition to the Naperville restaurant scene. We have been missing a dedicated Ramen place with freshly made in house noodles. The ambience was more on the modern side with house tunes playing in the background. The broth for the Ramen was also excellent mirroring my experience from Japan. The staff was very friendly and everything tasted delicious including the kids meal. Of course, all this comes at a price.

My girlfriend and I ordered a rice bowl and a ramen. I definitely recommend the ramen over everything else here.The Umai Tonkatsu is delicious. The broth is rich and the noodles are pleasantly chewy. There egg was also soft, but it was cold. After trying a multitude of restaurants that serve "ramen" there was a severe lack of even just edible spots outside of Mitsuwa. Umai Aji-Ya fills in this gaping ramen-shaped hole here in Naperville perfectly.As someone who has relatively high standards and is a picky eater when it comes to Asian cuisines, I whole-heartedly recommend ramen enthusiasts (and noodle newbies) to give this atmospheric spot a try.

I love authentic Asian food and this is SUCH a find!! The food is SO good and the setting is beautiful and relax. Opening weekend was busy as expected but worth the wait! OOH I can't wait to go back!! Bringing ALL friends there!

Absolutely loved it! Our server Curtis was quick and attentive. I ordered extra noodles, and this wonderful human, brought me some extra broth, he said it was because he knows sometimes extra noodles require extra broth. Thank you Curtis and Devon for a great dining experience. We'll be back :)

Service and Food are both fantastic. Every ramen place has their own twist. Umai stakes their claim and follows through with quality ingredients, preparation, and presentation. There's no wrong choice with their ramen selection, and I'm looking forward to trying their rice bowls next time.
