I always use it when I come to Uji.It is delicious as it is only creative food.Especially, it is the best gratin using Nishikyo miso.I think that always crowded is telling the taste. The atmosphere of the shop, the atmosphere of the master, is the best.

Dishes were prepared with local fresh produces! Not a whole lot of selection in here but dishes were quite neat and delicious! Prices were reasonable, given it is located in the tourist area (2500Â¥ for two-person lunch)! Foreign traveler like me has no problems of ordering! Staff members were quite nice and welcoming! It, however, may have to consider to turn down the heat a bit! To stuffy!
