They did a good job. I remember fondly the old US Airways short haul flight area and it now seamlessly merges into the former American terminal, which is now United. I fly United and they did a beautiful job. I hated the years long separation between the former Continental flights area and United Terminal C post-merger, which was sad. Having United in one consistent, walkable short terminal segment with a Legal's Sea Food, Stephanie's and Peet's is nice. Not way over-priced and consistent quality.

Boston Airport is very easy to navigate if you take the mass transportation. The Airport shuttles are available 24/7 and you'll most likely see a line of them. I doubt you'll miss a shuttle, but rather a shuttle will be too full. There is a small wait at each stop like the Terminal B Stop 2, but the voice on the shuttle will list all airlines and rental car companies for the next stop.
