Truly a little piece of heaven on earth. Whether it is the fabulous, friendly staff or the huge portions of tasty ice cream. A must stop if going to Bar Harbor!

Very very good ice cream and other treats like soft-serve sundaes and udderless shakes. We were in the neighbourhood for 3 day and went a couple of times. Had the pistachio ice cream the first time and you know it's good home-made ice cream when pistachio is not coloured bright green with artificial flavours, it is a pale whitish-green with real nuts inside. Also had the udderless shake which was soda water and chocolate syrup and it was surprisingly good. The blueberry 'non-dairy' ice cream was also very good. We usually stay away from anything 'non-' this or that which means its missing a key ingredient but these guys obviously know what they're doing. Pricy no doubt at about $5 a scoop but if you're on an island and making good quality stuff, hey, it's worth it and you get what you pay for.Nice too that that have a little patio area where patrons can hang about with their dogs while enjoying the ice cream.

Excellent ice cream. Had a different thick sticky texture but the flavors were outstanding.

Great little place. Plus, nice mini golf course across the street.

My family got 2 flavors- the salted pretzel and the toasted peach praline. The two best flavors of icecream I've ever had and I love my icecream. So delicious.

My wife and I almost went here three days in a row for the last three days of the season that they were open. It was that good.They had a frozen pudding flavor I had never heard of before which was delicious, but in general I felt that the quality of the ice cream itself meant you didn't have to load it with toppings to make it taste good. I would go there to just have a peanut butter ice cream cup or a vanilla shake, but they did have the usual toppings if you crave them.I believe they're closed for the season now in mid September.

Top notch ice cream and BBQ joint well placed across from the outdoor so great for kids. My wife had three flavors of which the maple walnut blew the others away. It was that good. But I had both strawberry and blueberry non dairy flavors and they needed to be creamier. They tasted more like sorbets with an unfortunate crushed ice feel rather than ice cream (..maybe that was the point..).Just poor mouth appeal. Both had just adequate fruit flavor with the strawberry being the worst of the two. Our very courteous and helpful server said they were coconut based but to me the formula needs alot more work. I do appreciate the attempt though.....

All the years that I have been visiting the area, I can't believe I never stopped here. The overall experience was amazing. The service was excellent. We had a large group of kids with special needs and their parents. The employees were very helpful.

Excellent homemade ice cream, can't go wrong with homemade ice cream. We had basic flavors and they were all delicious!!

The smell of waffle cones wafting out of the order window as you wait is heavenly. I got a brownie sundae both times I went and I think about it often. My boyfriend got the waffle cone and it was sooooo good. Can't wait to go back (and I run an ice cream shop!)!!

Amazing icecream flavors and options. The quality and portion sizes do align with the menu pricees. I found it to be worth every penny after consuming my entire treat! I highly recommend this place. You can walk to it if your staying at Bar harbor campground.EDIT: I had to return a second time. My selection did not disappoint and the service was great!
