At Twyrl, we serve delicious, healthy food for every day. We make our own pasta with 100% durum wheat flour and fresh eggs, so it's packed with protein. The pasta is cooked to order for every customer, and tossed with fresh sauces, savory meats and sautéed vegetables. Our meals are hearty but not heavy! We offer distinctive grilled sandwiches made with preservative-free meats and cheeses. Our bread is locally sourced from the artisan bakers at Somerville Bread Company and delivered fresh daily. Our salads are designed to surprise and delight your taste buds with unexpected flavors and textures. Paired with small-vineyard wines and craft beers, our pastas, sandwiches and salads make for meals that taste extraordinary but are everyday affordable. A fantastic bistro we stumbled upon for lunch today. The pasta is fresh cut and the meat sauce is delicious, thick and creamy. The house red wine is balanced. Oh, did I mention the marvelous salad that comes with lunch had little cubes of beets? Highly recommend!

Twyrl Pasta Bistro is homemade pasta . I had Romain salad is huge portions . I felt full before Main course came scampi shrimp. Haha . My friends had carbonara. The staff was friendly. Tiny space but on weekdays might be better to visit.

The menu could feel a bit limited, especially before they added appetizers recently. But the fresh made pasta dishes are some of the best I've ever had. Not complex, but really well done. The owner is amazing as well, he is everywhere at once and I've had a conversation with him every time I've been there.
