Tu's Tea & Banh Mi Northeast

Salt and pepper wings were cold when I ate it... I came back to the restaurant and confronted about the issue and well all they could do was re-frying the wings. I told them I lost my appetite, I would rather get freaking fries or half refund for the wings since I ate 2 out of 4. They were keep making an excuse, wasting my time, so I just left with reheated wings and threw them in the trash can. Never coming back.

Just had their banh mi today and I'm mad I haven't been coming here sooner! They use real Vietnamese cold cuts as opposed to ba le who uses American hams and less of it. Their bread is perfect as well!

Fast and easy Banh Mi. Lots of sandwich options and a few appetizers. Sandwiches were very tasty, appetizers were okay. Had a Mango bubble tea which was also okay.

Had the hoagie and noodle soup today. Both were very yummy and toasty delicious. Service was good and got everything in a reasonable time. I would definitely come again.

Gross. No effort put into my tofu Bahn mi at all. Jiggly, bland tofo made for an unappealing "mouth feel." Frying the tofu hard and marinating, would have made it so much better. That sandwich was a sloppy mess

Try the lemongrass tofu! Tasty, freshly prepared bahn mi with a unique mayo butter sauce that makes it stand out. Taro boba tea is on the thick side, but still tastes great. I'd stay away from the Che it's not as fresh as bambu's.

I am Vietnamese, I have eaten Banh Mi from basically everywhere from everywhere in Philadelphia. The first time I had banh mi at Tu's Tea, the meat was sour, so I just brushed it off that it was probably just my taste. This past weekend, I revisited and bought more banh mi. This time I bought 7 for the family. Everyone who ate a banh mi all said it had a sour taste to it as if the meat was bad. I will not be visiting here again.

Banh mi, teas, and coffee are great. Customer service is great too! They accidentally delivered the wrong banh mi to me once and they were kind enough to send me the correct one, refund my order, and also give me a tea on the house. Still 5 stars even when mistakes happen!

Loves the Vietnamese hoagie and bubble tea.Edit: this is a new restaurant now. No more bubble tea. Just pho and Vietnamese hoagie.
