Turntable Chicken Jazz

This place has a lot of jazz esthetic. Such a cool place off the beaten path. Had the chicken fried rice and it was the best I ever had. They have jazz music going. Definitely suggest you try this. They are known for their chicken so you may want to try that.

As far as Korean fried chicken goes, this place was just okay. Not the best, not the worst. The flavors were pretty good, but for the high price point and "hip" vibes, I was expecting something a little more exciting flavor-wise. The portions were also rather small. The hush puppies were just okay too. The "coolest" part was definitely the decor and the beer tower. If you're looking for a more authentic Korean fried chicken experience, you'll find far better options at other establishments in K-Town! I'll definitely be going elsewhere next time.

The ambiance is great! I love the decor. Had soy garlic and spicy fried chicken, seafood pancake and bulgogi burger with fries (spicy mayo on the side). It was all good. I went on a Friday. It got crowded after 6pm. Not kid-friendly at all. Good place to meet up with friends.

Very good chicken. Well prepared. Can get spicy. Drinks are good and a bit pricey. Would definitely come back!

I've been to this place a handful of times. The ambiance is really nice. The chicken is excellent and has a good flavor. The fried potato is also good. The seafood pancake is really oily but still tasty. I would give this place 4 stars but last time we went there my wife got sick from it. I'm not going to blast them because I'm not sure if that was just a one off, but its worth a 1 star deduction

Chicken was very good. It's a Korean fried chicken place. There pricing is decent, not too bad. Appetizers were delicious as well. Friendly service. Good atmosphere and music.

This place has lost its special appeal. It's no longer found upstairs behind the building manager's desk. They've moved to regular space and it just doesn't have that feel anymore. I'm sure the chicken is just as good but I lost that loving feeling.

Turntable has really lovely aesthetics and a fun environment. Definitely make a reservation ahead of time if you have a large group. My group of 4 had a short wait and we were able to grab a drink at the bar first. Expect typical NYC drink prices, but the food is reasonably priced. I've had better Korean fried chicken but it still hit the spot.

I kept reading that this place has the best korean fried chicken. Unfortunately, they don't. Although the chicken was really juicy and crispy, it really didn't taste like much. Both sauces(they only have two choices) were okay and nothing I would go back for.

It was okay... The decor and ambience are great. Amazing music playing and lots of jazz themed decorations. Not exactly what I think of when I think Korean food but I didn't mind. The food was not bad but definitely a bit over priced which I'm sure you'll notice just by taking a quick look at the menu.

So we just left this place for our friend's birthday. 7 of us went. We spend a couple of hours here and maybe under 600 with the gratuity included. Food was ok, better than I thought. But service was not helpful. From a simple request by 1 person that they were dissatisfied with their drink (yes, we know, you already made it, and the person tasted it) to change to another one. They had to ask 2 people, and then said no because you tasted it. They could have been more accommodating with a single request. We asked for a birthday candle at the end. They said they could put it in a short glass. But only if we bought more drinks. Really? This is the quickest way to lose 7 potential repeat customers....which they did. My final review...food isn't good enough to deal with they service quality and rudeness. Stay away.

Really nice vibe for a fried chicken place, jazz record playing forever. Cool for group but also good for lone diners. Attractive and courteous staff! Only down side might be the chicken inside is a tiny bit blank. Out skin is crispy and flavorful but inside needs more seasoning for my taste. Very tender though.

Food was very tasty. I did go on a Friday and the place was packed but was able to snag a seat at the bar. Drink and food was good and didn’t have to wait a long time for it.

Food was good but the space was tight and a bit too loud. Could hardly here what the wait staff were saying. Be prepared to sit around 20+ minutes for your food if you don’t order any small bites.

Great place! Nice menus and cocktails. This rating is a part of a movement to end single use plastic where it’s not medically necessary. This place had single use plastic umbrella bags and drink stirs. I implore the business to switch to a more sustainable solution such as wheat straws, pasta straws, papers straws or no straws unless upon request.
