Your best bet is to call them directly to confirm if they have a 'house rule' in that regard. Legally, 'pubs' can admit anyone underage, as long as they are accompanied by an adult; and as long as they order food. If they choose NOT to admit anyone under the legal age for serving/drinking alcohol, it could simply mean that their chef, or sous chef has already left for the day.. in which case they can't legally admit anyone under the age of majority.

I'd definitely call to check but that being said. I was there a few weeks ago and there was some young high school kids playing pool there.
