Had the Wagyu Shabu udon with truffle dashi. It is definitely worth trying! Udon was perfectly cooked, soft and chewy. There was no price difference in the regular and large portion so obviously we chose the large and it did not disappoint. The sushi was very good but nothing extraordinary. If you had to pick one dish, I’d go for the Udon. I would skip the add on options for $3/$5/$8 and just order the full size of the dish.

Great high end casual dining! We are here for the first time and were impressed with the extremely high quality food, service and atmosphere. The udon noodle bowls are fantastic. There is a wide variety to choose from. The sushi was top notch and very well plated. The utensils and table setting really compliment the experience. The restaurant has a refined, contemporary look without feeling formal. The wait staff were knowledgeable and happy to describe the dishes and give suggestions. Use the valet next door at the Hotel Commonwealth for stress free parking. The valet staff are nice and honestly it's the same rate as anywhere else in the area (not including the tip). The only surprise about this place is that is reasonably priced considering the quality and location. We will be back!

This restaurant was decent, though a bit overpriced. $36 for a “small†(a large portion despite the label) udon and an appetizer I shared with a friend. the ambiance was really sleek, and the spicy shrimp tempura was quite good. I was excited that they served houjicha as the tea and the first cup I received was delicious. however, subsequent refills of tea tasted oversteeped and tannic. the creme broth udon seemed interesting, and I was drawn to the simplicity of the uni udon. unfortunately the broth was rather lackluster and I wouldn’t get the creme broth udon again. my friend claimed the US wagyu and mushroom udon was good, and indeed it looked more well-executed than my cream broth udon. overall, I am glad I checked this place out but I am not sure I’d come back (mainly because of price point).
