Great food and a really fun atmosphere! The gumbo was delicious! Spicy and a generous portion. But the best part was the corn bread!!

Great barbecue, the whole family loves it. Everything we’ve ever ordered has been top-notch. Owners are great people to boot!

This place is definitely worth a try. A little New Orleans taste in Durango. The fried catfish and the smokehouse burgers are wonderful. Sherrie, the owner, was so friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

Ordered the 1/2 chicken platter with baked beans. After almost a half hour of waiting our food came and the chicken was so burnt and dry it was almost inedible and the cornbread tasted like and felt as though I was consuming sand even with all the butter the waitress provided. The beans were so sour we couldn't eat them or even choke them down. The soda was so watered down i might as well have ordered water and the "bar b que" sauce on the tables was little more than severely watered down Tabasco sauce in a fancy bottle. Will NOT be eating here again and will NOT be recommending to anyone. The portions for the price were okay but would have been better if any of it was even edible

It smells great as you walk in. You order, get drinks and pay at the front register. We also left a tip on credit card at this time. We seated ourselves. The cashier/waitress/bartender drops off paper plates. Then later, our meal. Ribs were tough and flavorless. Sides were delicious. We finished eating and started to walk out. It was then that we noticed the sign, 'Please bus your table' and more signs saying where to put the paper plates. We tend to tip based on service, but we had to bus our own table. If I wanted to eat a mediocre meal on paper plates, clean up afterwards, and not get paid, I would have played mom and stayed home.

A buddy and I were staying at The General Puller Hotel just down the street and I saw it on Google Maps so it was already somewhere we we considering. However, one of the bartenders at Carver Brewing Co. suggested it so as a visitor passing through we took that advice.Well, the food was awesome. We split the Combination ($20) and as you can see it was a lot. So much actually that we didn't even end up going to dinner. Now it was 2:30 once we got our food, but this will give you an idea of the portion for two active guys on a snow bro trip.The cashier/server was very nice and answered the questions we had. We arrived at 2pm after walking from the hotel to the Animas River Trail and around (crossing the interstate at the first stoplight you get to) until we reached the restaurant. It was 4 mi total. We were the only customers so hopefully it was just the odd hour in a Tuesday because the food was worth the visit.TL:DR Great food, awesome Bread Pudding

OMG!! Fantastic food and amazing customer service from Sheri (co-owner). We had the Smokehouse Burger and the catfish and we ended up sharing with each other because it was so good. Sweet tea was out of this world! Tarter sauce and the flavor of the burger were both SO GOOD! This place is right by the train depot which is also very cool. Definitely recommend!!

Food was great! The Sampler goes Bomb with 2 sides of fries! Good atmosphere, makes me feel in my grandma's house. 😅I also love the fact that I can bring my dog to the Back! And let's not forget the good prices 👍

Wonderful smoked meats and great sides. The Cajun influence is there but not overbearing. However seeing a woman behind the counter with huge ear gauges made me almost walk out. Aside from that the decor is bright, cheerful and inviting.

I shared the combo platter with my family after a ski day and it really hit the spot! The delicious smoked meats, the house made sides, the BBQ sauce, and the attentive service were perfect. We will definitely be back.
