True Food Kitchen

This was our favourite place to eat while we were in Santa Monica. We stayed at the Shore Hotel which is just across the street from this place. As a warning this place gets really busy later in the evening. But the restaurant is large enough to not feel cramped. The service was amazing and the the staff were friendly. Lots of interesting selections on the menu. The food was seasoned and flavoured perfectly. This place would make it very easy to be vegan. I did not miss meat at all. Over the course of the week we tried several different dishes and all of them were delicious. Highly recommend you try this place out, you will not be disappointed.

Amazing food and drink! Best meal I've had in a long time. There are many exciting vegan options and delightful nonalcoholic drink choices. I will eat here again. I recommend getting reservations, at least on a Saturday evening, because they were very busy and the wait would have been very long without the reservations.

Such fresh ingredients. My niece and I loved our meals. Great place if you have a group of vegans and meat eaters. My niece has a nut allergy and they were very understanding and accommodating. The O.G. is the best homemade ginger drink I have ever had. My burger was so good too. I will be back when I visit Santa Monica again!

Delicious and fresh! I come to true food every time I visit Santa Monica and it never disappoints! Great location, fresh food, and gluten free options! The servers are super friendly too. I would highly recommend!

Such an amazing restaurant. Large inside, lots of natural light and space. There was a wait when we came but there was additional bar tables on the side where you could get drinks and start your orders before actually being seated which was pretty amazing to keep everyone occupied and cared for. We were seated on the patio on the side of the building overlooking the street which was perfect. Absolutely amazing food, great drinks. The service was pretty good but seemed a bit disorganized, didn't really affect our experience. Will definitely come back!

Great menu! Very creative and delicious food. Will definitely come back the next time we are in Santa Monica. Only downside was they had ran out of Kale at 6pm which was a bit strange for a health food restaurant, but they had sent staff to go buy more so was only a 20 minute wait for any menu items with Kale. Highly recommend.
