Honestly, likely The most consistently great food in Boone. The wait staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely good folks, and the prices are decent - not to mention all day breakfast. It is hare to go wrong at this locals favorite.

Troy's is a MANDATORY stop for any visit to Boone! Great food, great service and if you don't want to wait on a booth(which could be fairly long on weekends)you can just sit at the bar and watch the kitchen staff whip up your meal. Great spot!

It's the best place in Boone. You can tell by the regulars that keep going back. Visit every time I'm in town. Sarah and Pat are the best!!

A hidden gem in Boone. My wife and I have visited so many places in the world but I would have to say this is one of the best places I have EVER eaten breakfast. The "Big Daddy" is the wag to go.

We came to stay a few days and see the mountains and discovered Troy’s. After eating there once we went back two more times. The food and pricing was great but the best was the service and friendly, down home feeling. When we got a hot fudge Sunday, I wanted the cream and cherry; my wife wanted none. When it came, the waitress had cream and cherry on my side. When we ordered a Philly cheese and mentioned we were splitting it, it came on two plates with separate fries. And I haven’t even mentioned the giant blueberry pancake.Expect to enjoy yourself.A visitor from the flatlands.
