Tricks Barbecue

Best BBQ ever. Flew down to Savannah & stopped to try their food. Tremendous portion of ribs, 1st trip. So good I told my wife I had to go back to get more to take back home. Got the medium combo with beans. So much food I gave some away and still had enough for 4 meals. Their sauce is extremely delicious. If you do not like alot of sauce get it on the side. Going down next week for more.

All I can say is amazing! The food is terrific.

I very rarely give 5 stars, but in this case it's more than warranted. We got 2 of the large dinners, consisting of 3 quarters of a full rack of ribs, and a side .....I was a tad hesitant at the 12 dollar asking price, but soon found out it was well worth it, I actually would have paid 15 a plate. Ribs were deeply seeded with smoke, very flavorful, I could taste about 5 different spices, juicy, and gives you that bite back that you're looking for in s good rib. The sauce was vinegar based, not overly vinegary, good bite, a hint of heat. All in all the ribs were fantastic, and the best I've had in Georgia. And I've eaten at hundreds of restaurants and bbq places. And the potato salad, while nothing spectacular like the ribs, it was also very good.

So on a trip to Savannah, I did what’s normal for me when searching for the best food... I “Googled”, “Trip Advisor’d” and “Yelp’d”. You can order beef, chicken and ribs with sides of potato salad. Full disclosure, I’m always going to talk about the ribs... I did have the beans and it’s a good thing I’m focusing on the ribs. Anyway, the ribs are FANTASTIC!, porky, rich smoky almost a “bacon like” quality. They were succulent, moist and cut into manageable pieces. They also come with a sauce that’s hard to describe but a good accompaniment nonetheless. I bought a large (includes bread and beans - potato salad) with about 7 pieces, which was more than enough. If you don’t stop for anything else, stop there for the ribs, it’s well worth the trip...even for this CT Northener.

Food was great and comes with a drink, great price's. 5 pieces of chicken and a side of baked beans or potato salad and 2slices of bread. Me and my daughter ate and shared a box and we were beyond full😋

Real, honest to goodness southern bbq. The type that sticks to your bones and fills your heart along with your belly. I couldn't even finish my meal they gave me such a large portion. I'm not confident that I can work out the rest of my workday without a nap. Get the combo, the ribs are great, but the chicken is amazing. Highly recommend. But be ready to take it to go, no seating and always a line.

Y'all. We just tried Trick's out for the first time and the only complaint I can come up with is I wish we'd gone sooner!It's going to take me a couple tries at it to accomplish eating all of these ribs and me oh MY talk about flavor. We got pork ribs with tater salad and bread and dang it, even the plain old white bread is soft and on point. But the ribs? MMMmmm yes please. These beautiful barbequers aren't afraid of flavor and absolutely jam pack in the seasonings but somehow managed to not make it too hot for an old tender tummy like mine. Even my hot and spicey loving partner ate it as is and he adds hot sauce to everything.Head on over to Bull Street and grab you a plate to take home; you won't be disappointed!
