Best Italian on the south shore!

Out of this world... scrumptious! I had the pan seared scallops served with mushroom rossotto... oh, baby...

We have frequented Trattoria quite often over the years. The service is wonderful and food is consistently good. Some of our favorites are the stuffed peppers appetizer, and the salads are amazing for starters. The special salads especially. For entrees the veal chop, pork chops with vinegar peppers, and lobster ravioli with a nice portion of shrimp on top are some of our favorites. My wife often just gets pasta with a meatball on it. The red sauce is great and meatballs even better.

We've been many times...but this request for feedback is for specifically the last, 10 months ago. It was for a special event w my wife. Order came out of kitchen incomplete. Took longer than usual. Delmonico steak medium well arrived well-done, dry. We've not been back. Too many other places to choose from.

Food was O.K. the person that was our server was more interested in the table that was drinking a lot next to us. There was 6 of us, and we were never asked if our meal was o.k. We had to ask for the pepper, cheese etc. was not offered coffee or desert. So sad that such a nice place had such poor service.

This place is sooooo good. Every time we go, we get great service and the food is delicious. Love sitting at the bar area. The desserts are worth the wait.

Amazing Italian dishes .... cozy & an intimate dining setting! They have outside tables for dining during seasonal weather & a fire place inside during the winter months.I recommend the Meatballs with a simple tomato sauce for an appetizer.

This place always had a good reputation for quality Italian cuisine, but we had a mediocre meal. Both meals were over cooked. Food was not well composed on the plate. Service was still excellent as it always had been. But the food just did not seem to be special. Maybe it was an off night. The woman next to us sent her meal back because her steak was overcooked too.

Pasta Bolognese was excellent.

Great restaurant, seating is a little tight but not bad. Martinis are wonderful, we enjoy the meals very much, especially their Bolognese, Fish Specials and their Rack of Lamb. Bread is awful, some sort of sourdough that is dry and crust is hard, sure wish they would change it. Not a big place, would recommend making a reservation.

Went through Grub Hun for delivery. The food cane piping hot and absolutely delicious.

ABSOLUTELY delicious!!!! Great service, great food and a wonderful night of good company. This restaurant went out of its way to get a special dessert for one of our party...bravo for the extra effort.
