Tracey's Corner Cafe

The Dovetail is the best place in Warren, it is truly one of a kind. The building is beautiful on the inside and is covered in murals and paintings. There's live music every Tuesday and Sunday. The coffee and drinks are fantastic. Adding to it's charm is the owner Mike, who is warm and inviting.I come to this place nearly everyday because of the community that it hosts. There is a colourful cast of interesting characters that inhabit this coffee shop on a daily basis. This building feels more like a second home with second family inside. Come for the coffee and if you stick around, your life may change for the better like mine has.

I wanted to try a new coffee shop that was not the traditional corporate style brands. This place seemed interesting, so I went there to try it.I ordered the Almond Latte, and it was just whatever. The primary flavor was the almond syrup. It really did not have that coffee feel to it. There was also no design at the top that is usually given with lattes.The atmosphere here was pretty cool, but I feel that it has a bad location. There is a lot of art and visuals all over the walls. I feel like this coffee shop would do better in places like Royal Oak or Detroit.The service was good. The cashier was nice and respectful. He was also the one who made the latte.

Met a buddy here on a Sunday at opening hours. They almost missed our business because the doors opened a few minutes late. Drinks and food were good and the atmosphere was nice to be able to catch up and communicate.

My son brought me here as he frequents the shop often. I tried a drink called the "Tootsie roll" and it tasted just like a Tootsie Roll! My son got a "Dirty Chai" which was really good also. They have bagels, sandwiches, & typical coffee shop food items. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed and eclectic. There are games to play as well as some smaller areas if you'd like a bit of seclusion. Overall I think the Dovetail is a winner.
