I had the teriyaki chicken and broccoli. It was a tasty quick meal in a clean environment.

Toyama is amazing. They're prices are unbeatable, the taste is remarkable, not to mention that you'll have your order number called out faster than you can take a seat. Its perfect if you're a college student with a budget but you want to go out. Or if you're just looking for a express dine in experience.

The best place to get some quick Japanese food and take it home or eat there. I occasionally get the chicken and vegetables

Food is good!! I always get the steak and chicken combo. Comes with rice and sweet carrots.

Checkout the constant stream of customers.The front door is always opening and closing and the staff handles so many customers it is unbelievable.Pick a table after you order at the counter and the staff will look after you.

80% of the time it is fantastic the entire time, that's about all I'd expect from a $ (1 dollar sign) restaurant. Yes there are occasional issues when they are busy but I've observed that they have attempted to fix or help any problems that a customer has.Menu is mostly healthy (the oil is heavy but delicious) and very non offensive. They allow the option to replace items in the dish (example: no rice extra veggies) and can cater to your needs if you cant eat carbs. Fantastic. Perhaps 1/5 times I may not enjoy the food or experience due to whatever reason so I will rate 4.5!

I absolutely love Toyama Express. The food is consistently fantastic, and the experience is always nice. My go to is the Teriyaki Chicken and Broccoli. That plus a drink is a delicious, filling meal for less than $9. My most recent visit was with my sister, who ordered the Hibachi Steak and Shrimp. Those premium ingredients will cost a bit more but still very affordable (around $12 including tax).
