It's okay. There are many business guests, and people traveling alone are also staying.
There is a free pick-up bus from Kyoto Station Hachijoguchi.
There is no free bus.
Take a city bus from the front of Kyoto Station to Sanjusangendo National Museum and get off at the same bus stop. From Hachijo-guchi, take the Princess Line Bus to Kyoto Women's College and get off at the same bus stop.
I haven't stayed at four seasons Kyoto but I've stayed at many in the past. I found the Hyatt to be terrific; great bar, great restaurant (breakfast was very good). Rooms were very good though small. Not the same level of finish as a four seasons (or Park Hyatt in Tokyo) but I was completely happy, and I'd say I'm relatively picky when it comes to hotels for reference.
