This place is great! They serve breakfast, which is what I ordered. They were able to accommodate me, despite my gluten allergy. I ordered the breakfast egg and mushroom cazuela and it came out hot and fast. It tasted so fresh and their smoky salsa is to die for. Steer clear of the tortilla strips if you're allergic to gluten though. My understanding is that the tortilla strips are cross contaminated.

For airport food this was great. Flavorful, different, great atmosphere (if you like Latin music) but a little pricey. From what someone told us it is the same price at their city location so I couldn't be mad. Tip: there is a bar to the right of the pickup spot. You can order your food and drink their.

Wonderful quick bite. We got the milanesa torta and it was a wonderful blend of flavors. Perfectly spicy without killing us. The corn chowder was flavorful as well. Service was fast and they were helpful and friendly. Seating is limited, and they don't make it clear that you can sit down and order or not. Over all, would recommend!

This site is my preferable site. Of all restaurants I know I love it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this place. when I I need a good lunch, this is the place that comes immediately to my head. excellent and food and a rich menu.trained crew, and agreeable vibes. Not less important, the bill is fair. I praise this spot with no doubt.

Friendly staff, decent tortas, chips aren't very fresh but the salsas are pretty good.

Delicious food, decent price for an airport. It's one of the few places in an airport that you can actually get a quick(er) food option that will be high quality. If you've got a layover this is the place to eat!

It was my first time at O’Hare airport and I read about Tortas Frontera in an article listing the top 10 airport eateries to try. This place Definitely did not disappoint. I ordered a breakfast bowl with eggs and bacon. It came with sweet potatoes, avocado, black beans, cheese, arugula, a tasty sauce and was topped with crunchy tortillas. Delicious!! It was a decent sized portion for under $10. When I went, the line up was short and I was served fairly quick considering they make everything to order. The sandwiches they make also looked incredible - I wish I bought one for my flight! Next time.....

Ordered Pepito and orange juice. Both are very good, not just quality in an airport but in general. The meats were very tender and tastey, good mix of meat, veg and sauce. The OJ taste fresh have not drink fresh squeezed juice for a long time.

The food here is just as amazing as it is at the downtown Chicago location. Rick Bayless is a guacamole sorcerer!

Good airport sandwich stop. Grab a quick bite here as you do a layover. Yes, they are pricey sandwiches. They are also good.

For airport food, this Tortas Fontera is really, really good. Food is freshly made to order, no heat lamps or microwaved frozen sandwiches. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with chorizo. Could not have been happier. It is a little pricey, but well worth paying a little extra for fresh, high quality food. I would go out of my way when flying through ORD to eat here, it's that good.

Amazing food. Great margaritas. Great salsas. Solid quac. Really great service at the bar (near gate b11). The hardest part is getting an order in. I literally ordered online while standing online and stepped out of line. I not only received my food, but also ate it before the gentleman in front of me even received his food. The venue could definitely benefit from ordering kiosks to expedite ordering. But once you get it, totally worth it.

Worth the long line and wait! The line moved quickly and service was fast. Lots of seating nearby to eat and people watch.

Amazing food. Avoid the chips and guac / loaded options. They are expensive and good - but small. The chips are also the saltiest ever. The sandwiches they have are amazing! The service was good too. Especially for how busy it was!
