GREAT SAKE & GENUINE JAPANESE CUISINE. The owner is very passionated at providing the high-level food and sake experience with the customers. All the staff are friendly and quick to respond. Definitely my favorite place to hang out with my friends, girlfriend and co-workers!

Excellent Quality! Quantity is medium size for price, but quality and service make up for it.We went for a work meeting which was great. Everyone can order small plates or mix & match from a group table order.Great way to introduce people to this style of food.

If you're not a local and you're specifically driving to visit this place, I suggest making a reservation. The place is intimate and small so I assume most people get turned away or wait a very long time.We started our dinner with some apple shochu. I'm not sure about the alcohol content but it didn't taste bitter at all! It just tasted like apple juice. I loved it a lot and the apple cup was an additional treat.Everything we got was amazing. But the most memorable ones were the truffle whitebait salmon roe and the wagyu beef grilled on a shichirin. We ordered it twice while we were there. We went for dinner so maybe it's because we went late but they ran out of some food items while we were there. So if you go, always order the ones you want to try the most just in-case they run out!

Good quality Yakitori in Torrance. They have all the usual items and a few specialty sticks including chicken with natto, grilled avocado and a few different cheese ones. They also do oden as well as many other side items. There are usually lines so best to come early or book a table.

The food is pretty good, especially the chicken liver pate and chicken skins. It gets busy so be prepared to wait for a seat.

Before I start I recommend you reserve a table rather than walk in.I've been here a few times and I gotta say my latest visit affected me so that I had to leave a review. Their service is great and they check up on you often. It was rare for me to look around to flag someone down. I was excited that they didnt sell out of their chicken skin. When we got ours it was super salty, so we thought the next one should be fine but it wasn't. Our server takes it away and mind you we already ate half the plate so we thought we would just get back however many was left over. He brings back a whole new plate. Great service!

Favorite Japanese restaurant of mine. Really good environment and food is delicious, not the usual Japanese food (sushi, ramen etc).Raw Octopus with wasabi is the best. Very friendly people. Place can be quite busy, better to call ahead to get a reservation.

The monkfish liver is outstanding. The grilled squid is tender. All the skewers are delightful. Some skewers may need a little more cook time, like the liver, heart, and thighs to avoid food poisoning. Drove an hour and half to stand in line. By the time we were seated they were out of chicken cartilage, tails, and some other stuff. The reservation and wait-list app provided they Yelp did nothing. Process are reasonable $3-$5/skewer. Sashimi they were out of some items, so couldn't get those. Oden were in general flavorless, except for the egg with roe; which had some extra seasonings added to it. But on a whole, I was satisfied. Approx $40/person. Great suggestion to come early. If I'm ever out in Torrance at night, I would definitely seeing by.

One word, RESERVATIONS. If you don't have a reservation then be there when they open, otherwise it's going to be awhile. Party greater than 6 with no reservations, go somewhere else. Food wise, service, alcohol selection it's four stars.

Authentic Japanese yakitori. I like the meticulously bbq-ed yakitori skewers. They have a pretty good selection of saki. I usually get the sapporo pitcher with bunch of tapas style dishes. Lot of their food is pretty creative. I think they use pretty much all parts of a chicken in their dishes. I would highly recommend this restaurant.Go when they just open for no wait - but the host will tell you have to finish in 90 minutes

Questions & Answers

Not only do they have chicken liver, they pretty much serve most(if not all) parts of a chicken on a skewer! They have skin, gizzard, cartilage etc..

No they don't offer Togo's Sandwiches. They also don't do to go orders.

Call them and check, hopefully they open?
