Torigen Shinjuku Nishiguchi

About

Serving classic yakitori (chargrilled chicken and vegetable skewers) and chicken cuisines prepared using renowned chicken brands, along with original and seasonal sake selections. Jidori-chicken such as deliciously hard Hinai-jidori and juicy and chewy Date chicken are skewered inside the restaurant for their freshness and dynamically grilled on bincho-charcoal at 1,200 degrees Celsius. Yakitori chargrilled to a fluffy, juicy finish by our artisan chef are served with our secret miso-based dipping sauce or 100% organic salt. Our yakitori recommendation is the chicken meatball prepared by hand, a special dish with an aroma of charcoal with it.. As a closer for dinner, please try our Horokanai soba noodles. Counter seats are recommended to take in the lively sight of food preparation. We also offer private rooms as well.

Sat at the back separated from the smokers. Yakitori and fried shrimp and chicken wings were delicious, so was the salad. Has English menu, would come again.

Great Izakaya!! Very friendly staff, English menu which is always useful and they give you time to enjoy your drinks between dishes. Walked in there by chance but couldn’t have been happier...
