When the immensely popular Toto Ramen closed due to Covid, the head chef of the location decided to open a similar style shop at the same location. Gone are the long waiting lines but the paitan chicken broth is still thick, rich and flavorful. In addition to ramen, side orders include takoyaki, onigiri and gyoza. A number of donburi rice bowls are also offered….we did not sample these. I found the soup stock to be very similar to Totto’s but I missed the scoop of rich aka miso in the bowl. This miso bowl has the miso paste mixed into the broth. Green onion and nori are the included toppings plus your choice of grilled chicken or pork char sui. Additional toppings can be ordered such as corn, wakame, menma, ajitsuke egg. The cooks and staff are Japanese speakers and ingredients have the flavor of Japan. A good solid ramen bowl in midtown.

I came into TORIBRO thinking it was it's predecessor—Totto Ramen. I wasn't disappointed, the place is still excellent for ramen. I grabbed the spicy ramen which isn't actually all that spicy but a nice starting point for people who like spice. The tako Wasa is good and my friend really enjoyed his char sui and signature/original ramen. The service was really fast and you got to watch it be made if you're seated at the counter. I did enjoy that they take card unlike Totto, which made things a lot easier.

TORIBRO is always a good time for lunch or dinner - on my last visit, sat bar-side and enjoyed watching the kitchen staff work their magic. Delicious ramen, good energy in the restaurant, and credit cards accepted. My favorite? The miso ramen... or maybe the spicy Toribro. I can't decide!

I can give 10stars if i can! Taste was really great, even more better than totto ramen. Because i heard that the chief (totto ramen) he is still here just changed restaurant name. I even didnt realized it, I thought i went to totto ramen😅. the girl name was Amy? Waitress and staff was so kind. And price wasn’t expensive. I highly recommend this restaurant. I wish i can have ramen everyday

Excellent chicken based ramen. Don’t worry - lots of delicious pork add-ons, the char siu slices were my favorite!! Small place, 10 seats at the bar and another 3 tables so definitely aim to go at an off time (but also worth the wait, seats turn over quickly). Highly recommend, I’d be a regular if I lived nearby!

Toribro Ramen was incredible. This used to be the old Totto Ramen before one of the chef's bought it from them and launched their own new recipe. The staff were absolute gems, patient and very attentive. We had a party size of 5, which was definitely a tight squeeze for the restaurant. Needless to say, we made it work and the restaurant did as well. Toribro Ramen deserves a spot on New York's list of top tier ramen shops. The broth was very complex, the noodles were cooked al dente and the chashu was just pure perfection. If you're even remotely interested or find yourself nearby, do yourself a favor and grab a seat here. You won't regret it.

I literally live right next door, can’t believe it took me this long to visit this place. Wait was a tad long to get the food, but I didn’t mind. It was definitely worth the wait. I got the spicy ramen with pork. It was fairly cheap for New York and I even have leftovers for tomorrow. Will definitely be back!

My favorite ramen spot, this is my third time coming back. I love introducing this ramen spot to my friends and they love it too. I had their paitan the first time, I got their mega with pulled pork it was yummy, next time I’ll order their curry bowl.

Located in former Toto, Toribro is sooo much better. Toto always felt like drinking fatty sludge, Toribro has a much lighter, more flavorful broth. I had the spicy smaller ramen and finished the whole bowl, broth and all. My husband had the mega special and I finished his for him. Great flavor, friendly staff, and great price point. (37$ before tip).

We came here for an early dinner— no wait, got seated at the bar! The staff was incredibly nice (all spoke Japanese). We ordered Toribro Mega. The broth was nice and rich— loved the seasoned egg. Noodles were perfect consistency. I would have ordered the ramen rice after but the ramen itself was very filling! Highly recommend!
