Torchio Pasta Bar

I couldn’t have been more impressed by Torchio. The ambiance is amazing, our waitress Claire was ray of light, so energized, bubbly, and helpful. The drinks were great but the food, was the real highlight. We had the meatballs to start, the caprese pasta, which is new and not yet on the menu, the short rib malfadine, the seafood fra diavolo, and the branzino. Bill, the owner, stopped by and made the experience so personal. This is our new Italian restaurant and we cannot wait to make it our neighborhood regular.

Phenomenal new local spot - all pasta homemade, and dishes could compete for best in the city. The new pasta “bar” has been set high. Great menu. The owner Bill put together a top talent team here, from the top mixologist in the city, to the best chefs, servers and bartenders. New favorite spot. Keep up the great work.

This new pasta bar is AMAZING. We sat outside, on the beautiful small curbside patio. The chef and owner stopped by our table twice to chat and ask about the food. The gnocchi appetizer was delicious. The carbonara spaghetti was perfectly Al dente. The tiramisu was excellent. The soda comes in small non refillable bottle. Overall extraordinary experience, highly recommended.

Torchio is a little spot with all the big Italian feels. Must-go for date night, treating out-of-towners, special occasions - you name it! The food and wine are phenomenal, and the hosts treat their guests like family. Shout out to Novy at the bar and Bill at the helm for creating such a welcoming and delicious experience!

By far the best pasta I have ever had in the city.Every dish we ordered was incredible. We ordered 2 appetizers, 5 pastas, and then 3 desserts for 5 of us. It was all great.The Torchio pasta was unlike anything I've had before. Truly amazing!

Amazing handmade pastas. I highly recommend Giovanna's Bolognese which is served in a crisped parmesan cheese basket. My only regret is that I didn't save room for tiramisu.

Decor is lovely, staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating - and the food is amazing! The best pasta and scallops I've had in a long time.

WOW! This just might be the best place for pasta in Chicago. The owner and the story behind this place is incredible and everyone makes you feel so at home. Try everything absolutely everything you won’t be disappointed.
