Top Shelf Gourmet

I order cheese from them every Christmas and they are always so helpful. Very nice people with great food.

The owners are not very friendly even when no one is in the store they have a tendency to ignore you. Wanted to get prices for catering and they were not very helpful. They said they would get back to me and they never did.

I've been going to Top Shelf Cafe most my life....as a child with my grandma, I loved the journey over the highway from the Sister Bay Condos to pick up our favorite ham & cheese croissants and Wisconsin cheeses. As my grandparents moved through-out the peninsula, stopping at the Top Shelf for treats never stopped. When I heard the former owners we retiring, I was scared that Top Shelf would lose that nostalgic feeling for me, but it hasn't. John and Annie has kept the spirit alive. I love to my semi annual trip into the store for my taste of artisan Wisconsin Cheese, stuffed olives, chocolate covered cherries, and wines. When my grandfather passed away, my family selected them to cater the service. Their services and food could not have been better. Top Shelf will always have a special place in my heart and I'm thrill it is a part of my Door County memories.
