Cool experience and the food was great. We had the vegan option (great that they cater to different diets). It isn't the cheapest but definitely was fun and worth the money.

Amazing experience. Amazing food. Amazing service. Amazing surprise that I promised not to disclose.I've been to many Japanese restaurants. This one became my favorite. It's a unique experience, a must have when you're in Japan. The food is worth it, the fun adds value to delight you.A few things to know:- you have to have a reservation and even choose your courses beforehand.- they present everything in ninja style. You need to be open to fun, otherwise it's not right for you- it's very cosy and you will get a private room.- you need to remove your shoes when entering.- the drink menu is separate and you can't choose that beforehand.- they do have ninja sake and it was good. Maybe not the best sake but it was worth the money.

Dinner at Ninja Shinjuku is an experience not to be missed! From the moment you walk into the slightly ominous yet posh front lobby, you'll be transported into a fantasy world of the mysterious Ninja.I'm not going to give away much here, because the surprises are half the fun. However, don't let the gimmick fool you, this is a top-notch, gourmet Japanese restaurant serving a food experience to rival Heston Blumenthal. It's not cheap, it's not quick, but the money and patience you spend to explore this culinary adventure will be well rewarded. The service is spactacular, the 7 course meal is scrumptious and the show that brings it all together is wondrous!

Stunning food, service, and performances. From our very entrance and seating to dessert and exit, the staff create a fun and immersive Ninja experience. Every waitstaff is dressed as a ninja or kunoichi, bringing elaborate foods in beautiful, traditional Japanese vessels and even model boats. Our food was always light enough to enjoy without feeling overwhelming, balanced, and they compensated for our friend's allergy. The staff was also very versed in English and explained each dish so to help us appreciate them. The Wagyu steak was extraordinary and soft to chew, and our complementary dishes were just as great. The finale is wonderful and fun, and at the end we left full and happy. Worth every yen.

Great food, great presentation, great staff. From walking in the front door and being greeted by a ninja and a robot, to the master ninja magic performance. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks to the staff for the great customer service 👍

The food, the service, the theme, everything was amazing. The way every course was presented was spectacular. The Ninja magic show was a ton of fun as well.

1st of all. Thanks to our server Tsutsuji? She mentions flower name. Anyway. We (3 of us) start at 730pm and we done at 945pm. Food presentation is good. Quality is good. Timing between each dish is great. Not too long and not too short. Our server does have a lot of patience and make sure we are able to take a good picture or video when she bought each dish inside. We have the wagyu beef course 7000 yen about cad88.00 with presentation and decorations plus the server with lots of smile. I can't see why don't they deserve a 5 stars. Also at the end is the ninja magic show. Amazing!! Only 1 minor draw back is if the waitress is able to help us to take a group picture. That would be Great. But even we forgot that part too. Next time when I come to Tokyo. This restaurant will be the 1 st priority in my itinerary. And I do recommend this is worth to spend the money for the dinner here.

This was one unique dinner experience! Just entering the restaurant was so interesting. There is a Ninja magic performance and with all the tasty food I think the price is worth it! There is also a Ninja souvenir shop! The staff can speak English and they also have English menu. They kinda of rushed us in the beginning on the first couple of meals, but what do you expect if the waiters are all Ninjas! The food tasted very good. I heard this restaurant in Shinjuku and the one in Akasaka are slightly different in terms of interior (and food too if I am not mistaken). Maybe one day we will try the Akasaka one. So definately worth the try (at least once). They also have a bar next door that we didnt try. Overall if you are a Ninja fan, I think this place is recommended for its unique experience. If not, you probably will still enjoy it. Kids will most likely like it. 5 ninja stars!

Food and theatrics both top notch. Although smaller portion sizing may seem initially pricey - the quality of the food and the added flair makes it good value. Well worth a visit.

I was pleasantly surprised that the food here exceeded my expectations. Don’t think that this place is a novelty restaurant only, the quality of the food served here was exceptional. The ninja theme isn’t over the top and the tables are in private rooms and dimly lit, good for a more personal feel with your own dedicated wait staff. There is a small ninja magic show appearance at the end which is entertaining.Loved it here and left with a memorable experience.
