Average food, but awesome views! It’s a seat yourself restaurant - go order at the counter and you get a beeper. Udon, soba, curry, “sauté” chicken with rice.

It look like an ordinary family restaurant but not. This restaurant has a great lake view, that you can enjoy with a meal. Menus have vary and delicious.

高いしおいしいくない。Food is below average but if you only just want to fill your stomach go for it.

The food was surprisingly tasty given its just a cafeteria attached to the boat terminal. However I thought it was rather expensive for what it was.

Beautiful view from restaurant. You can see cruise going & coming in Ashi lake. Good place to rest & refresh yourself for onward journey.

Good view and Clean

This place is convenient because it's right in the building between the gondola and the boats, but this was the worst meal we had in Japan. If you dislike or are allergic to seafood/fish be careful... Even the rice has tiny dead fish in it. I got the udon with yam and the yam turned out to be a bowl of tasteless corn startched sludge. Go here if you are in a hurry, otherwise go elsewhere.

Nice restaurant..i ate omurice..it have a very good taste..we can also see the view of lake ashi from here..very beautiful view

Togendai View Restaurant is a restaurant where you can dine while looking at Lake Ashinoko in Hakone, Kanagawa Prefecture. Moreover, it was a sunny day, so the scenery was the best. However, the sun is so hot that it feels hot even in early November.I had a cutlet curry this time. There are menus besides cutlet curry, such as omelet rice and pork ginger. The most popular is the omelet rice, the second most popular is the cutlet curry I ate this time. It ’s a bit annoying to have to go to the restaurant to cook for yourself. But it was great to eat while looking at Lake Ashi. Next time I want to eat omelet rice.It also handles drinks and seems to be able to enjoy Hakone beer and sake. I think it's best to drink beer while looking at the lake.If you have a chance to go to Hakone, be sure to go to Lake Ashinoko's Togendai View Restaurant.

Quick and yummy curry rice with scramble eggs.

Pretty average but ok if you need a bite to eat as there's not much other choice on this side of Lake Ashi
