Their chilaquiles are delicious. I had them with fried eggs and my boyfriend added the steak to his. They are on the crunchy side as some people like them on the soggier side. Potatoes were savory, I also ordered their limeade, it was great, fresh and generous portion, very refreshing and not overly sweet at all. They also have freshly squeezed fruit juices, my step daughters apple juice was good.

Great food,great customer service ,great prices. the staff was very friendly. The food came out super fast. I order Chilaquiles verdes with steak and let me tell you I was not disappointed at all. Great place to come and eat

One of my favorite brunch spots in the city! The chilaquiles are delicious- I get my eggs over easy and order the chorizo. But the oatmeal shakes are DIVINE- you must order one if you eat here! Busy for weekend brunch, easy to get a table at other times. Cute patio in the back when it’s nice out!

Its all about the chilaquiles for me! Feels like home every time I go in. Great Mexican Moms that bring the love behind a spectacular menu. Everyone I have shown this place to becomes a regular. It's a very special place for breakfast.

The food was really good and exceeded my expectations. My friend had been here before and it was my first time. We ordered chillaquiles and meat lovers omelette. Good sauce on the chillaquiles and the omelette had a good variance of meats. The potatoes were also really good. BUT THE SHAKES. not pictured but DELICIOUS. Oatmeal Pecan was absolutely amazing. Would go back just for that.

Delicious, Food Smoothies, Coffee and back yard dining. Friendly staff, wonderful food offerings. Children's menu also very good offerings. I have eaten at this Restaurant for years. Dining room seats about 20 plus guests, plus bar seating. Once BYOB. The patio seats about the same. Food has always been fresh and delicious. The team cares about food and have remembered our names when on our return visits. We are looking forward to new changes to our spot! See ya soon Tiztal Cafe.

Quality breakfast/brunch spot. Came on a slow Tuesday and got fantastic fast service.

In honor of Cinco de Mayo, I was really craving a Mexican breakfast. I ordered the Tiztal Chorizo Scramble, which had chorizo,scrambled eggs, shredded cheddar cheese, cilantro, onions, and tomatoes. It came with potatoes and a few soft tortillas. It tasted so good and was very flavorful. It brought me back to my recent trip to Mexico. Plus the portion was a good large size. I also ordered the oatmeal banana smoothie was also delicious! The food came within a few minutes after ordering. I will definitely order from here again

Longtime favorite breakfast place of choice for chilaquiles, eggs, and potatoes. Always cooked well, never overdone. Large portions that can easily be split into two meals. Excellent service and a friendly staff. Nice patio area in the back and the shakes are a must-have each visit.Parking can be an issue depending on the time of day, so I would suggest using public transportation when possible. Otherwise, paid street parking available.

Good, attentive service. The chilaquiles with chicken were delicious, the chilaquiles are a mix of crunchy and soggy kind. I do wish the salsa used on the chilaquiles was a bit spicy, it's really mild. They give kids a small bowl of fruit before their meal arrives, which my 2 year old and ate immediately. The lemonade is very good, it's frozen so it's like having a refreshing slushie. It's made fresh

The food here is amazing, and the service is always great! They also have a great outdoor space for the warmer months. Only complaint is that they are not open later, because sometimes I crave an oatmeal shake after work! Has quickly become one of our favorite spots in the area!

Easily my favorite restaurant in Chicago. Without fail, I leave here 100% satisfied with my food, service, and overall experience. The menu is a perfect size, with options for anyone. Definitely make sure you get an oatmeal shake and the potatoes. Both are some of the best tasting things I've ever put in my mouth, and I've put a ton in here.Great value as well. Two oatmeal shakes, an order of French toast, chocolate chip pancakes, ham, and potatoes came out to $40, with everything being delicious. That's great imo. The potatoes are enough for two people to enjoy so you get even more value there. Make sure you get the shake though. I can't stress that enough.

Little pricey but the waffles and omelette we ordered tasted good.

These chilaquiles are amazing. Fantastic amount of bang for your buck. The oatmeal shake sounded questionable but the sweet cinnamon-y flavour was incredible. They offer a small sampler if you don't trust me. Will be back again (and again)
