Located directly across from the Chinatown firehouse, Ting Wong is one of those places under the radar, but frequented by locals.Upon entering the first thing I noticed was tables with parties of four or more gathered for family dinner. The guests looked happy and everything looked and smelled great. This moderately decorated space is simple but forthcoming in terms of a good meal at a great price. No alcohol is served here, just soda, water and complimentary house tea.I had the roast duck and white rice with a side of roast pork. The food came out hot and fresh. The dishes both tasted great. The portions were quite large too.

I've been experiencing Ting Wong for well over 10 years now and they have never waivered in their ability to deliver a tasty meal in what seems like record time. The food will put a smile on your face and will not set you back a good amount. You must eat at Ting Wong because it's one of the better restaurants in Chinatown.

Best roast duck fried rice in town: used to go here for lunch all the time when I used to work in the city a few months ago. Now I live in Manayunk and miss coming here a ton!!

Great authentic Cantonese home cooking. The roast pig and roast duck on rice, and the soy sauce chicken and roast pork on Hong Kong noodles are outstanding in taste, presentation, and value.

Chinese food and the setting here is super good. Staff is always timely even when they have a full house. This place has a great feel to it. Kinda of like a cafe in Phoenix that I enjoyed.

Have been coming here to do takeouts of roasted duck, pork and chicken for a dozen years. The quality of the food is superb. Only the prices have risen a little more than I'd like, so half a star off 5 for that.

My go-to place for a cheap/quick eat in philadelphia chinatown. Everything I have tried there (roast duck, bbq pork, stir fried noodles, congee, and buddha delight) was delicious. The service’s your average chinese restaurant standard.

Always yummy, this is our comfort food place. Good portion and very reasonable price. The waitress always helpful and they're really fast. We always stop and get lunch whenever we're at Chinatown.

Ate here for first time recently with my wife. The decor is very basic, nothing to wow about. It's a modest space with about 12-15 tables. The food is reasonably priced and tasty. I had squid and Chinese vegetable over rice. The service is fast. I would like to stop by and try more dishes. Updated to five stars since my latest dinner. The service was good and they gave me plenty of the roasted duck and pork on top of the noodle soup I ordered.

Where the local elderlies go so you know it's good! The service was quick and efficient and the prices are cheap for what you get.

Tried it with some friends and loved it. Brought my Cantonese family and relatives after raising their expectations for "delicious Cantonese food." They were raving about their lunch the rest of the day. (Almost all of the wait staff speaks Cantonese, Mandarin, English, and Spanish!)

Questions & Answers

No. They dont allow alcohol. Its a family restaurant.

Ting Wong..no

If you have a narrow wheelchair you can get it in,the place is not wheel chair friendly. Very small venue. I'm a big guy 5ft 11, 320 lbs I almost feel like I'm in a box. But damn, the food is good there and fairly priced.
